If there is no other option except to go to war, it’s important to a have a powerful ally in your corner.
In the female wrestling wars, when you watch her brute strength applied in her matches, you would definitely want the beautiful powerhouse Nyla Rose in your corner.
Her power and strength is in her roots, having the blood of the mighty Oneida Indians running through her athletic veins.
“The most powerful weapon on earth is the human soul on fire.”… Ferdinand Foch
The Oneida Indian Nation is known as the United States’ first ally, having fought with the colonists during the American Revolution. The Oneidas participated in key battles such as Oriskany and Saratoga, and traveled hundreds of miles to deliver corn to Washington’s starving troops at Valley Forge.
In watching Nyla’s matches, right from the opening bell, you have the feeling that she is going to win. She usually not only out-weighs, but also out smarts her opponents as well.
As of this writing, here is a video online that speaks to her power vs the shapely Amber Rodriguez.

Nyla is industrious enough to have her own website (nativebeast.com).
Let’s meet her.
Nyla Rose may be new to in ring competition but she is no stranger to the world of professional wrestling. Growing up a proverbial “student of the game” Nyla would spend the evenings with her Grandmother watching the superstars of the World Wrestling Federation such as Roddy Piper, Ted DiBiase, “Macho Man” Randy Savage and of course Hulk Hogan just to name a few.
Always attracted to the pageantry as well as the athleticism, Nyla grew up with dreams of being a Pro-Wrestler.
She studied the Martial Arts Tae Kwon Do and Judo.
A short while after college, Nyla would discover the KYDA pro training school in Manassas Virginia.
Quick to Enroll, Nyla used her martial Arts Background to quickly progress through the program at KYDA. Although not yet the competitor she is today, Nyla would eventually debut in front of the fans in Manassas as the Ring Announcer of some of KYDA’s live events.
Eventually and unfortunately KYDA would be forced to close their doors.
Unable to focus on Wrestling Nyla decided to focus on her other passion, acting. While working on a Film for Roman Pictures, Nyla stumbled onto Covey Pro Wrestling. After attending an event and meeting the owner of the company, it would seem Nyla earned herself a try out.
On December 8, 2012, having reinvented herself as the Warrior Goddess you see today, paying respect to her heritage as a proud member of the Oneida Nation Nyla would make her re-Debut in front of the fans of Berkley Springs WV by Power bombing Mary Elizabeth Monroe and giving the assist to Jessie Belle Smothers.
Although she is still very new, Nyla Rose has, in a short time, proven herself to be a VERY formidable opponent in the ring.
Watching her numerous videos, we agree.
In the wrestling industry, admiration for her abounds. The informative site getitwrighthere.com smiles, “Nyla Rose is nothing more short of amazing; her skill level is superior to any pro wrestler on the independent circuit. She has power, agility, speed, stamina, timing and she has the look. Nyla has what it takes to be in the WWE or TNA. She is Native American and has recently teamed up with wrestling legend Princess Victoria and Little Bear to form this unique pro wrestling group made up of tribes from around the world called THE TRIBE.”
“Any time women come together with a collective intention, it’s a powerful thing. Whether it’s sitting down making a quilt, in a kitchen preparing a meal, in a club reading the same book, or around the table playing cards, or planning a birthday party, when women come together with a collective intention, magic happens.”… Phylicia Rashad
The praise continues.
Most of us in the female wrestling industry have heard of and admire the efforts of an industry leader like Lady Sports. They seem to love Nyla too as they express, “There is a genuine member of the Oneida Nation who is making her mark in the sport. Fans have dubbed her with various nicknames… The Native Beast, the Wild Rose, the Barbie Breaker, the Warrior Goddess… and as those appellations suggest, she is a force to be reckoned with! But fans may be surprised by just how laid back and easygoing she is away from the squared circle, laughing easily.”
Nyla does have a sense of humor. If you ask her how much she weighs? Her reply?
Less than your girlfriend.
Let’s now briefly visit her Oneida heritage.
The Oneida, meaning the People of the Upright Stone, or standing stone, are a Native American tribe and First Nations band. They are one of the five founding nations of the Iroquois Confederacy in the area of upstate New York, particularly near the Great Lakes.
Originally the Oneida inhabited the area that later became central New York, particularly around Oneida Lake and Oneida County. Today the Oneida have four nationally recognized nations: Oneida Indian Nation in New York, an Oneida Nation of Wisconsin, in and around Green Bay, Wisconsin in the United States; and two in Ontario, Canada: Oneida at Six Nations of the Grand River and Oneida Nation of the Thames in Southwold.
During the early 17th century, the Oneidas occupied and maintained roughly 6 million acres of land in what is modern day central New York State.
The Wisconsin Oneida are an Iroquoian-speaking Indian tribe currently residing on a reservation in northeastern Wisconsin near Green Bay.
With a series of casinos near Green Bay, Wisconsin, the Oneida tribe has, in a manner of only a few decades, gone from being a destitute people to enjoying a fair amount of social prosperity by investing a large portion of their profits back into their community, including a sponsorship of the Green Bay Packers.
Very fascinating.
Just as fascinating is Nyla’s future as an Indie wrestler.
Fortunately she has a family that is very supportive of her wrestling even though at times they are afraid for her health.
Where would she love to wrestle?
She smiled and stated in an online interview, Mexico, Canada, Puerto Rico, Japan, England and other exciting lands.
Good for her.
We’re very excited to have her wrestle in America.
It’s always nice to have a powerful ally in your corner, in life and in the wrestling ring.
