A young life amazingly lived and observed in the public eye can be the source of great wonder, discussion and admiration.
The incredible sexy young actress Lucy Hale made a mesmerizing name for herself in the popular T.V. series Pretty Little Liars.
Originally developed as a television series by book packaging company Alloy Entertainment, the idea was described as “Desperate Housewives for teens.
Pretty Little Liars is an American teen drama mystery thriller television series developed by I. Marlene King, loosely based on the popular book series of the same name written by Sara Shepard. The show premiered on June 8, 2010 on ABC Family and ended on June 27, 2017.
As the story goes, four friends band together against an anonymous foe who threatens to reveal their darkest secrets, while unraveling the mystery of the murder of their best friend.
Our beauty was born in Memphis, Tennessee.

Fashion is as fashion does so fashionmagazine.com is in on the scoop as well. “The secret is out: Lucy Hale has just been named as the beauty brand ambassador for Avon’s fashion and beauty brand, Mark. Considering how often her Pretty Little Liars character, Aria, changes up her hair and makeup, Hale seems like an ideal choice for the face of the youthful brand.”
Lucy’s partnership there is an expansive one that includes the thrills of the limelight but also a role as an ambassador for a great cause.
Lucy will serve as the spokesperson for the brand’s philanthropic arm, M.Powerment by Mark, which works to bring awareness to vicious cycle of dating abuse and violence against young women.
On Mark’s Facebook Lucy was quoted as expressing, “I just want to say that I’m incredibly proud to partner with a brand that is as passionate about empowering women as I am. I’ve been a fan of Mark’s products for years, but it was important to me to work with a brand that is truly about beauty on the inside and the outside.”
Lucy’s Facebook page reveals that the actress often encourages her fans to speak out against bullying and violence against young women, making this new role well-suited.
The appreciation for her efforts flow. At people.com quotes Meg Lerner, Global President of mark who proudly extols, “Lucy embodies our mission of empowerment and what it means to make your mark on the world. We’re thrilled she’s joining us in time to celebrate our 10th birthday.”
Avon is involved in other important civic causes as well.
They expand at avonfoundation.org, “Safer, Sounder, Better Lives. For over 60 years, the Avon Foundation for Women has been a driving force behind charitable, scientific, educational and humanitarian work that improves the lives of women and their families.
Our efforts to eradicate breast cancer and end domestic and gender violence worldwide have helped move these issues out of the shadows and into the public dialogue. And as attitudes continue to change – from fear and isolation to knowledge, action and empowerment – so do the lives of countless women everywhere.”
Another cause they are involved in that is close to our hearts is sponsoring female sports.
On April 18, 2017 at their informative site media.avoncompany.com they post, “In a landmark moment for women’s football, Avon Products Inc. has today announced a ground breaking sponsorship as the beauty giant becomes Principal Partner of Liverpool Ladies Football Club and the Club’s Official Ladies Beauty Partner. Together Avon and Liverpool Ladies FC, herald a new dawn in women’s football, as the partnership will see Avon become the teams’ first independent shirt sponsor to that of its male counterpart. Furthermore, for the first time in history, Avon will become the first female-focused brand to sponsor an FA Women’s Super League Club.”
And what about Lucy?
“I always felt thrilled and amazed that I could put actor on my tax form.”… Geoffrey Rush
The all-time great Pittsburgh Pirates professional baseball player Willie Stargell once mused that life is one big transition.
At 28 years old, Lucy’s spent the entirety of her 20s, all of her adulthood so far, on the series, playing Aria Montgomery, the kindest and most stylish of the vixens. Now that connection is over.
It will be time for her to re-invent herself.
We will all be watching of course.
When you’re young and thus far have lived life brilliantly, admiration swelling, anticipation mounting, we will absolutely stay tuned.
For Lucy, we know that the best is yet to come.
