Over achievers are ambitious, driven, and motivated.
Their expectations for themselves exceed way beyond average and are often difficult to understand. They tend to follow the theory, if you don’t try to go too far, you never know how far you can go.
The German female wrestler Hera graced the Fighting Style tournament in Greece with her presence and though there a short time, she made her presence strongly and beautifully felt.
Besides her elegant looks, what made her performances so remarkable was that many of the Fem Competitors that she wrestled were quite a bit taller than her.
Femcompetitor Magazine’s analysis is that not only does she possess substantial courage but is most likely an over achiever in most aspects of her life as well.
That’s a good thing right?
Balance is always ideal but under achieving is certainly less desirable depending upon what chair you are sitting in.
I was always an overachiever.…….Donna Rice
Here is Fem Competitor’s review of some of her matches.
HERA MATCH REVIEWS
The taller beauty Nike fashioned a red top and sensuous sherbet orange bottoms. Our hero Hera was dressed elegantly in white.
Nike is clearly much taller and as the two beauties stood on the beach with the waves gently crashing in, there might be a tendency to feel some sympathy for Hera who seemed to be at a disadvantage.
Though new to the game, Hera is well…….very game.
As often the case in Hera’s matches, Iris had her down on the sand with an immediate advantage. The two struggled back and forth and surprisingly Hera exacted a neck crank submission while on the bottom. Ultimately Iris’s height and body style proved to be a little too much for our shapely German Princess and after a valiant battle, she slowly succumbed. The producer called her Iris as he raised her hand, but viewing other videos, she seemed to go by Nike.
Congrats to the tall, gorgeous blonde.
The blue mats under the stars have a certain sheen to them and statuesque Iris adorned in an olive colored top and a Spartan black bottom looked confident as she was about to take on Hera sensuously dressed in lime green.
Here we go again.
At first our sexy German brunette was quite at a height disadvantage against the taller reddish auburn haired Iris. This time. Right from the start, things would go differently.
Hera was the aggressor and a head hunter. Twice she trapped Iris in headlocks, secured her on the mats in a crushing body scissors and secured the first two submissions.
Undaunted Iris fought back and the two traded holds before Iris began to secure a top reverse neck lock and despite Hera’s persistent struggle, the taller girl secured the submission.
As the girls rested for a minute and the battle began again, Hera circled her prey and snared Iris in what looked like a finishing body scissors but to her credit, Iris managed to escape.
Does Hera love wrestling tall girls or is it the taller girls who love wrestling her?
Against Asteria our darling German Maiden found herself up against the wall. Asteria did not have a name to be feared so I assumed that Hera would win this one easily. This is why you should never assume.
This is why you play the game.
Hera really struggled with Asteria constantly sporting an advantage. At one point Asteria secured Hera in a smother position and held it easily for two minutes with Hera unable to escape.
As of this writing, about three minutes of that match can be viewed at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gmNLvIh59j8
What happens when two over achievers meet in battle?
Maia, Wrestler, Fighting Style Goddess, Great Over Achiever
Maia was a pleasant surprise at the Fighting Style event so when she faced Hera there was good news and bad news.
What do you want to hear first?
The bad news is that Maia overwhelmed Hera dominating her for a substantial part of the match. Hera constantly fought from a bottom position.
The good news is that at least the beautiful girls were similar in height. The other good news is that Hera looks absolutely stunning in black.
What we enjoyed about all of Hera’s matches is that she stayed in the fight often fighting from a position of weakness underneath a potential smother but she kept battling.
Along with battling Nike, Asteria, Iris and Maia, Hera also muscled up and took on the German Policewoman Artemis.
Perhaps the symbolism of names do have power in reality.
According the respected site greekmythology.com, “Hera was Zeus‘ wife and sister, and was raised by the Titans Oceanus and Tethys. She was the supreme goddess, patron of marriage and childbirth, having a special interest in protecting married women. Her sacred animals were the cow and the peacock, and she favored the city of Argos.
Zeus initially courted Hera, but after many unsuccessful attempts, he resorted to trickery. He took the form of a disheveled cuckoo; Hera, feeling sorry for the bird, held it to her breast to keep it warm. Zeus then resumed his normal form and taking advantage of Hera‘s surprise, he raped her. Hera then married him to cover her shame; their marriage was turbulent and they often clashed.
The informative site greekgodsandgoddesses.net adds, “In images and statues, Hera is portrayed as being majestic and solemn, crowned with the polos – a high cylindrical crown worn by many of the Great Goddesses.
Even before her marriage with Zeus, she ruled over the heavens and the Earth. This is one reason why she is referred to as ‘The Queen of Heaven’ – ruling over Mount Olympus where all the gods and goddesses live.”
That’s quite a history.
Fortunately our Hera seemed to possess the powerful over achieving qualities of the Greek Goddess and is beautiful as well.
The 2005-2006 Fighting Style Greek Goddess Tournament will always be cherished in women’s submission wrestling lore. Hera only wrestled briefly but given her beautiful form, elegant looks and courage, she has created a timeless story of her own.
Great achievers often do.
