Dia Zerva is a star wrestler who should never be underestimated.
Four years in the competitive women’s wrestling industry is comparable to 16 Parakeet years and 25 years in a doggie’s life as long as he’s small. Approximately cuatro anos ago I made the drive from Nor Cal to Femwin’s Los Angeles event to enjoy some women’s wrestling for the fun of it because in my mind the only real serious wrestler that would attend would be Julie Ginther.
There were a few other cute starlets in the lineup but given the fact that they all wrestled on a site where wrestling wasn’t the main course but only an appetizer that led to the finale, as fully competitive wrestlers, I never took them seriously. Boy was I wrong. Now remember, this was about four years ago.
Who else was there?
Ariel and Cheyenne Jewel.
Talk about how life has a way of humbling you. I felt like one of those sports casters who publicly and passionately makes his case why a football team should lose Sunday and then they proceed to beat the competition 55-0 and my sound bite gets played over and over complete with my head turning side ways to repeating hip hop music for background emphasis.
There was someone else there as well that I completely underestimated.
It was the lovely Dia Zerva.
Sometimes life truly does bring you wonderful surprises. Dia took on Sammy Squeeze who previously had cut her teeth at Flamingo wrestling club in South Florida. Sammy had clearly improved but wrestling wise Dia, while she displayed her customary smile, was taking no prisoners or nicely tanned South Florida runaways.
Apparently I didn’t do my homework.
As many of you already know, Dia owns a sensational competitive wrestling resume comprised of some of the industries finest. Let’s please start the drum roll. We can begin with Cali Logan, Sin Sage, Wenona, Cheyenne Jewel, Virago star Yana Jordan, Penny Barber, Abby Aldrich, San Jose champion Isamar Gutierriez, Sammy Squeeze, Julie Ginther, Rachel Sinclair, Frankie, Ariel, Bella Rossi and (sigh) many others.
Yes I’ll drink a Caramel Mocha and sing Dia’s praises. But I’m not the only one.
Here is what our fan favorite female wrestling site Femwin had to say about her. “Dia’s wrestled a lot of tough girls across the country and is considered one of the best. She’s very determined and can take a lot of pain but is probably best known for dishing it out, especially against guys. Most guys who’ve suffered a beating from Dia will agree that she’s brutal and sexy at the same time! Physically, there’s few that can match Dia, especially her very powerful legs!”
Femwin and I are not alone in our admiration. The agency that manages her endorsed site mistressdiazerva.com exclaims, “Watch a strong, confident, assertive woman exercise her right to do whatever pleases her!”
According to the entertainment biography site imdb.com, Dia hails from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Heinz Field Home of the Steelers
From time to time FCI is asked why we write about the city or country that the competitor either likes to travel to or was born in; sometimes complete with a touch of history. Here is in part why we do so.
The widely respected news site CNN explains, “The numbers tell the story: Of the 308 million-plus citizens in the United States, 30% have passports.”
They should have said “only” 30%. For an affluent country, that is a very low number. The article continues by adding that 60% of Canadians and 75% of the citizens from the United Kingdom possess one. We won’t even get into geography and especially how our young can find very few countries on a map.
At Female Competition International we hope to promote the competitors who travel the globe and at the same time encourage our readers to understand the village that raised them.
Let’s view Dia Zerva’s village and travel to Pittsburgh.
The resourceful information site Wikipedia states, “Pittsburgh is the seat of Allegheny County and with a population of 305,841 is the second-largest city in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania.
With a metropolitan CSA population of 2,659,937, it is the largest in both the Ohio Valley and Appalachia and the 20th-largest in the U.S. Pittsburgh is known as both “the Steel City” for its more than 300 steel-related businesses and “the City of Bridges” for its 446 bridges.
The city features 30 skyscrapers, 2 inclined railways, a pre-revolutionary fortification, and the source of the Ohio at the confluence of the Monongahela and Allegheny Rivers.
Known for steel, Pittsburgh also led innovations and industries in aluminum, glass, shipbuilding, petroleum, foods, appliances, sports, transportation, computing, retail, cars, and electronics. This creative wealth placed Pittsburgh third (after New York and Chicago) in corporate headquarters employment for much of the 20th century, second only to New York in bank assets and with the most U.S. stockholders per capita.
Apple, Google, and Intel are among 1,600 technology firms generating $10.8 billion in annual Pittsburgh payrolls, with the area serving as the long-time federal agency headquarters for cyber defense, software engineering, robotics, energy research and the nuclear navy. R&D leaders Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh annually produce multiple startups as the area has earned the top rank as “America’s smartest” with 68 colleges and universities.”

The respected city information site downtownpittsburgh.com provides some artistic spirit. “Downtown is unquestionably the heart of Pittsburgh’s arts and culture scene. Each night, the Cultural District, 14 square blocks along Penn and Liberty Avenues, buzzes with theatergoers and diners.”
Wow, just like Dia, very impressive.
Dia went on to have a great Los Angeles event and a brilliant career as well. I had a chance to speak with her there and she was very passionate in her pursuit of several business endeavors. She has a silky smooth professional radio voice and I found her to be very down to earth and relaxing to hang out with.
We need more Dia Zervas in our female wrestling industry. Blessed with long lovely blonde locks, a sexy curvaceous form, a winning smile and a very bright mind, Dia is a star always shining bright.
Let’s please remember one other very important asset she possesses as well.
She is a tremendous wrestler.

Some may find other women’s wrestling sites erotic in nature. If you are offended by depictions of women wrestling in erotic situations, please exercise caution in visiting women’s wrestling sites.
