Adding up all of your life experiences, including what you observed happening to others when they walked down an unfortunate pathway, after someone else came to you for advice, you advised them not to do the same thing.
You thought you we’re saving them time and doing what was in their best interest.
Then something odd happened and I think you know what it is.
They forged ahead, ignored your advice and because of their passion they were eventually very successful and proved you wrong.
There are many lessons in that but one of them is that if you have passion in endeavors important to you and persevere, no matter what others say, anything is possible.
There is no passion to be found playing small – in settling for a life that is less than the one you are capable of living.………Nelson Mandela
The star of our story was not around the longest nor did she win the most matches but she did win plenty.
One thing for certain was that whenever the German Swiss Princess Kahti stepped into the wrestling arena, she wrestled with aggression and a passion seldom seen or sustained.
Sometimes like beautiful Karine of Deutschland, she could be down right mean.
Most of us first met Kahti wrestling as Fighting Style with the self-described Goddesses. This is where she made a name for herself and many of her matches became legend.
Kahti has been wrestling since early 2004 and was an experienced boxer in the traditional style and Thai as well. Her first wrestling matches were at the Berlin Expo in September of 2004 where she showed off her powerful body and extremely strong leg scissors.
Let’s take a walk down memory lane.
SOME OF KAHTI’S GREAT MATCHES
VS ARTEMIS
The match was released in 2005. Kahti was sporting a light blue outfit and Artemis looked super sexy in orange. It was a beautiful sunny day with the sea in the background while the two Goddesses would meet on the bright green grass.
After the introductions, Kahti as usual was the aggressor and wrapped Artemis up then planted a full hip toss and was immediately on top of her. The two struggled and rolled around until Kahti secured the first submission with a brutal head scissors.
VS NIKE
Her match against Nike on the outdoor blue mats surprised me.
First the start to the match was one of the most aggressive and violent I have ever seen.
The screaming and yelling “Ow!” like you mean it could be heard up and down the beach. As usual Kathi was the aggressor and had tough Nike underneath her and appeared to have kneed her in the head and then pinned her head down with the same knee.
Very determined, Nike aggressively escaped and then both girls trapped each other. Kathi grasped Nike’s head in a powerful head scissor while Nike soon squeezed Kahti in a body scissors so powerful our star began to scream.
Who would outlast the other one?
Finally the ref screamed “Stop! Submission to Kahti.”
As the match continued Kahti got off to her usual aggressive start and began dominating Nike to her exasperated screams.
Then out of nowhere Nike turned the tide and rolled Kahti into a combination thigh and elbow choke hold. It was one of the first times I had ever seen a move like that. Our beautiful German girl with the massive tattoo on her upper right thigh struggled mightily but finally succumbed and tapped out to Nike.
VS LILIANA
Kahti met Liliana by land and on sand.
Different circumstance but similar results.
Liliana is a shapely strawberry blonde feminine young woman in nicely flowered attire who didn’t appear to stand a chance against Kahti who appeared stealth like and lethal sporting black.
This time appearances were accurate.
On the beach Kahti immediately tripped Liliana and began to smother her. Our feminine beauty made a valiant effort but soon tapped out and brushed off the sand.
When they met by land Kahti started with her patented head scissors and fortunately for Liliana she couldn’t apply them hard enough. Liliana escaped only to find herself in another Kahti patented move and that was the body smother which eventually rolled into a sexy school girl pin while she folded sensuous Liliana over.
This time there was no escape.
VS KIRSTY
Probably Kahti’s most dominant match was when she faced the petite English maiden Kirsty on the beach.
American Lia LaBowe was the ref and after introducing the combatants, Kirsty began to immediately back pedal from the taller brunette German machine while Kahti continued to charge.
She soon tripped Kirsty into the sand and was on top of her. Kirsty could mount little or no defense and Kahti squeezed her out with a reverse head scissors.
The only thing that Kirsty did effectively that day was spit sand out of her mouth.
Wait.
Actually she even had trouble doing that.
If you love seeing a sexy woman get completely and brutally dominated by another where no sympathy or mercy is shown, buy a ticket because this match is the ticket.
VS MAIA
This may have been one of the more surprising matches in Kahti’s reign.
Maia is a smaller, petite, very feminine beauty. At first glance you felt sympathy for her because Kahti can become an aggressive tigress in a heartbeat and early on that is exactly the way it went.
Auto pilot butt whipping?
Maia submitted to Kahti a number of times but as the match on the beach progressed, Maia began to gain her sea legs and began to trap Kahti in some excruciating body scissors and even injured the German star.
It was shocking to see the turn-around but erotic and fascinating at the same time.
Kahti was one to take on all comers and her other matches included a war with American star Lia Labowe, a tough emotional grapple contest against Jenny, a rage with Zahra and actually fought Nadine in the sea. Wow!
Against Lia she got off to a good start, trapping Lia in a body scissors but as anyone knows who has watched the tough Boston product Lia LaBowe fight, this was far from over.
Lia turned the tables and began to dominate Kahti who almost kicked her in the face.
Soon it was Lia’s to win.
Turn the tables she did.
Win she did.

BERLIN
Women’s wrestling has allowed us to electronically travel the world over but very few of our stops have been to one of Germany’s most fascinating cities. Since our War Princess wrestled in Berlin why don’t we travel there once again with a plan and some passion?
Berlin is the capital of Germany and one of the 16 states of Germany. With a population of 3.5 million people, Berlin is Germany’s largest city. It is the second most populous city proper and the seventh most populous urban area in the European Union.
Located in northeastern Germany on the banks of Rivers Spree and Havel, it is the center of the Berlin-Brandenburg Metropolitan Region, which has about six million residents from over 180 nations. Due to its location in the European Plain, Berlin is influenced by a temperate seasonal climate.
Interestingly, around one-third of the city’s area is composed of forests, parks, gardens, rivers and lakes.
Berlin is a world city of culture, politics, media, and science.
Its economy is based on high-tech firms and the service sector, encompassing a diverse range of creative industries, research facilities, media corporations, and convention venues.
Berlin serves as a continental hub for air and rail traffic and has a highly complex public transportation network. The metropolis is a popular tourist destination. Significant industries also include IT, pharmaceuticals, biomedical engineering, clean tech, biotechnology, construction, and electronics.
Modern Berlin is home to renowned universities, orchestras, museums, entertainment venues, and is host to many sporting events. Its urban setting has made it a sought-after location for international film productions.
One of this writer’s favorite German films is called “The Edukators”
One reviewer at the great review site dirtyrottentamatoes.com summarizes the passionate film. “Jan, Peter and Jule are united by their passion to change the state of the world. Jan and Peter become “The Edukators,” mysterious activists who non-violently warn the local rich their “days of plenty are numbered.” Complications follow when vulnerable Jule ends up falling for both young men. An operation gone wrong and what was never intended to be a kidnapping brings the three young idealists face-to-face with the values of the generation in power.”
It’s a film where the passion of the young people involved try and uphold important principles that those in the past have died for and hoped that we as a human race learned from is extremely emotional, sad and hopeless but none the less, to be greatly admired.
The irony is that the character who you probably will like the least was once a person of principle himself when young, but eventually sold out and used the excuse of old age to play it safe and think about himself and his family only and turn a blind eye to the plentiful suffering around him.
Will the world always be ruled by greed, selfishness and injustice?
Sometimes at Femcompetitor we read comments online about how we divert from the story to talk about travel and cities.
We don’t see it as a diversion.
It’s always connected to the female warrior being spoken of.
Not always, but often the person that expresses that tends to just view the sexual beauty of the women involved and just sees women’s wrestling as a just the facts erotic domino count.
That’s fine.
We see a more expansive view. Why research the region where they are from?
It humanizes the combatants and stars involved. We want to understand the village that raised them.
It all matters.
THE PASSION OF BERLIN
The very informative travel site lonelyplanet.com excitedly shares, “Forget about New York – Berlin is the city that truly never sleeps. Sometimes it seems as though Berliners are the lotus eaters of Germany, people who love nothing more than a good time. The city’s vast party spectrum caters for every taste, budget and age group. From tiny basement clubs to industrial techno temples, chestnut-canopied beer gardens to fancy cocktail caverns, saucy cabarets to ear-pleasing symphonies – Berlin delivers hot-stepping odysseys, and not just after dark and on weekends but pretty much 24/7. Pack your stamina.
Berlin is a big multicultural metropolis but deep down it maintains the unpretentious charm of an international village. Locals follow the credo ‘live and let live’ and put greater emphasis on personal freedom and a creative lifestyle than on material wealth and status symbols. Cafes are jammed at all hours, drinking is a religious rite and clubs keep going until the wee hours or beyond. Sizewise, Berlin is pretty big but its key areas are wonderfully compact and easily navigated on foot, by bike or by using public transport.”
The very welcoming site visitberlin.de/en also relates a unique Berlin work of passion. “With 22,000 types of plants, Berlin’s Botanical Gardens rank among the three most important botanical gardens in the entire world.
Created between 1897 and 1910 according to the plans of the architect Alfred Koerner, the Botanical Gardens’ 43 hectares are a wonderful place to take a stroll.
The Botanical Gardens consist of three areas: the park-like arboretum (collection of woody plants and roses), the exhibition area showcasing plants from around the world in their geo-graphical context and the collection of 1.500 types of plants, which have been systematically categorized.”
THE PASSION OF GERMAN BEER
Can you really travel to Berlin without trying out its wonderful beers? I think not. Here are a few Beer Gardens that stand out.
Attractive and sober the great site thrillist.com is our beer Tour Guide.
Mitte
This traditional beer hall with a large garden space is indeed a piece of Bavaria in Berlin’s Mitte. Proclaiming themselves the biggest beer hall in Europe, the 6,000sqft space is decorated with typically Southern ornamentation and garlands and has all the elements of what makes a German beer hall gemütlich (welcoming). You know, apart from the beer
Weihenstephaner
Located near Hackescher Markt U-Bahn station, Weihenstephaner is a Bavarian-style beer hall with a ton of outdoor seating. Traditional Bavarian food such as sausages, schnitzel, and sauerkraut are served with a wide variety of both light and dark top-notch beer varietals. It’s also one of the few places outside Bavaria where you can find the vaunted Weihenstephaner beer.
Prater
Prater is Berlin’s oldest beer garden, and has boozily seen through Prenzlauer Berg’s various transformations over the decades, both before and after reunification. It has a vast yard and picnic-style seating, shaded by chestnut trees, while homemade Berliner cuisine is complemented by a selection of local beers, including light lager (Prater Pils) and darker numbers (Schwarzbier).
Loretta am Wannsee
Located on the outskirts of Berlin, this traditional beer garden is famous for its scenery and an exceptional selection of beers. Authentic Bavarian beer is served with peppers, pears, bacon, or dried tomatoes, BBQ pork knuckle, apricot dumplings, and other Southern specialties
Thank you so much. That tasted good.

Thank you Kahti as well.
We surmise that when many of our former female submission wrestlers retire, they sense that their memories will be forgotten.
They won’t. We fans won’t let that happen.
As long as civilization exists and those of us are around that appreciated the entertainment that they brought to us to bring relaxation, joy and excitement into our sometimes very stressful traditional world, how could we ever forget them?
Our traditional world that some of us labored in for years will long be forgotten and even unappreciated by those we did so much for.
Time will not remember most of us for that.
Our memories with our beautiful wrestlers, especially during the DWW ascent will never ever be taken for granted or forgotten.
Kahti’s aggression and passion in her matches really stood out.
She entertained and inspired at the same time while teaching us an important life lesson that even the ordinary person can achieve extraordinary things if they do it with sincerity and passion.
We love you Kahti.
