Rumpelstiltskin is a fairy tale popularly associated with Germany found in the 1812 edition of Children’s and Household Tales by the Brothers Grimm.

In the previously mentioned fairytale, one of the challenges our heroine faced was that she needed someone other than herself to spin the gold needed to save her life. Fortunately for her, the story had a happy ending.
