Mandy Leon is a young dark haired beauty who has never met a top rope that she can’t climb over, flip backwards from or showcase from.
She loves the spotlight.
As she prances into the venues of the Indie Circuit playing to smaller, energetic, boisterous crowds; often dressed in her blinding bright hot pants and halter top, Mandy is electric and neon.
Have you heard of her?
You should have.
She’s creating quite a stir in the lady pro wrestling world and puts on a non-stop intense and exciting match every time she challenges in the ring.
The reliable site prowrestling.wikia.com provides a nice foundation reporting, “Mandy Leon is an American professional wrestler trained by Ring Of Honor Wrestling and ROH DOJO’s Head trainer Delirious.
Mandy often works for independent promotions including Ring Of Honor. Mandy also has worked as a model, actress, and dancer.
Mandy’s devoted, committed, and in love with Professional Wrestling. Mandy is an ROH Dojo Graduate and still continues to train at the ROH Dojo to be the best athlete possible. When Leon is not training at ROH Dojo, she is in her local gym full force doing Sports Performance and Physical training to be in the best shape possible. She also attends as many Wrestling shows as she can. It is important to Mandy to not only gain experience in the ring, but out of the ring as well…from networking and talking to Veterans backstage, to setting up the ring before a show or tearing it down after.”
It’s evident that Mandy loves the lady pro stage. Her passion is masterful. She loves the game.
Those in the game love her as well. Her group rohwrestling.com provides a glowing biography. “In the modern era of professional woman’s wrestling, it’s very rare that you have a female come along who has every tool! With a rare mix of stunning beauty, raw power and undeniable talent, Ring of Honor’s Mandy Leon is the exception to that rarity.
A young woman of Puerto Rican, Cuban, Italian and French descent, the Brooklyn, New York native is a graduate of the Ring of Honor Dojo. As an experienced model and actress, her transition into professional wrestling has been on that has shocked many!”
Whether it’s against the beautiful pouting Cherry Bomb, the blonde toughie BookooBuckz, the sexy bruiser Jessie Brooks, the platinum blonde Queen Kimber Lee or dressed in Mean Green, Samantha Starr, win or lose, Many Leon is an acrobatic magnet.
One of her signature matches was against the super sexy youngster Deona Purrazzo a fellow Easterner. It was friendly and cordial with plenty of good sport behavior but extremely intense.
Failures, repeated failures, are finger posts on the road to achievement. One fails forward toward success.…..C. S. Lewis
What has contributed to Mandy’s success is her life philosophy. Few who make it to the big stage have it easy and Mandy is no different. She expresses, “My biggest accomplishment in life is that despite everything I have been through, I have NEVER used any of it as an excuse for failure.
FAILURE IS NOT AN OPTION!
I have always stayed focused and worked hard for what I wanted, without allowing anything or anyone to hold me back or dim my shine. From my bookings, shows, events, photos, videos, features, social media, advertising, building an awesome fan base, traveling, etc…I have done everything independently, on my own. As a result, I have built an amazing brand for myself that not only keeps my fans and viewers interested, but also inspires them to follow their dreams despite any struggles they may be facing. I am a strong believer that true beauty is rare. In order to be the full package, it is important to be beautiful inside and out. There is nothing more beautiful than a strong woman who is confident, loyal, determined, independent, honest, respectful, and has a strong drive to succeed.”
Success is both here and right around the corner as she has caught the eye of the mighty WWE.
It’s fine to celebrate success but it is more important to heed the lessons of failure.….Bill Gates
On February 13 2015, wrestlinginc.com reported, “WWE has expressed interest in both Mandy Leon and ex-NFL offensive guard “Moose” Quinn Ojinnaka of Ring of Honor.
Leon has appeared on a limited basis in Ring of Honor, mostly promoting their Pay Per Views on their weekly TV show while spending most of her time wrestling in New Jersey and Pennsylvania on independents such as UWE. Leon has appeared a few times on RAW as part of Adam Rose‘s entourage in recent months.”
The respected wrestling site squaredcirclesirens.com adds, “We have been able to confirm that independent female wrestler Mandy Leon is one of the females taking part in this week’s WWE tryout in Orlando, Florida.
Mandy Leon is a 22 year old graduate of the ROH Wrestling dojo. She made her official wrestling debut in April of 2014 wrestling at an ROH dojo show facing Jenny Rose. Since that time Mandy has gone on to wrestle for MCW where she is the women’s champion and VOW where she holds the champion as well.
Mandy is no stranger to WWE as she has appeared as a Rosebud a handful of times on WWE TV. This will be the second time in less than a year that Mandy has been looked at.”
Mandy was born in Brooklyn, New York.
No doubt from all of the television police shows you probably have heard of Brooklyn but what do you really know about it?
The informative site www.nycgo.com explains, “New York City’s five boroughs are home to some of the world’s most recognizable, cherished landmarks and attractions. From Times Square and Central Park to the Empire State Building and One World Observatory, the island of Manhattan packs more famous icons into one compact area than any other place on earth; and that’s to say nothing of the City’s four other boroughs—The Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens and Staten Island—each of which contains its own roster of must-see destinations.”
We could write 100 novels about Brooklyn and here is part of the reason why.
Brooklyn is the most populous of New York City‘s five boroughs, with a Census-estimated 2,621,793 people in 2014.
It is geographically adjacent to the borough of Queens at the western end of Long Island. Since 1896, Brooklyn has had the same boundaries as Kings County, the most populous county in the State of New York and the second-most densely populated county in the United States, after New York County (Manhattan).
With a land area of 71 square miles (180 km2) and water area of 26 square miles (67 km2), Kings County is the fourth-smallest county in New York State by land area and third-smallest by total area, though it is the second-largest among New York City’s five boroughs.[3] Today, if it were an independent city, Brooklyn would rank as the fourth most populous city in the U.S., behind only the other boroughs of New York City combined, Los Angeles, and Chicago.
Thank you Wikipedia.
Our hope with the beautiful girls of the Indie Circuit like Mandy is that they give submission wrestling a try. Mandy fits the profile. She’s a prolific dancer and model just like so many of our submission wrestling stars.
Sometimes by losing a battle you find a new way to win the war.……..Donald Trump
This Brooklyn star has beauty, brains, drive, passion, guts and a never say die attitude. Failure is just a stepping stone to success. We love watching her acrobatic splits.
Watching Mandy Leon wrestle is a stepping stone to fun and excitement.
