The newer Fem Competitor, Vanessa from Jacksonville earned respect and praise as a result of her courageous performances against MMA trained female gladiators. Vanessa is someone all in attendance will be speaking of for a long time.
Among the elite, the match between industry super star Cheyenne Jewel and Maria from Brazil was the main event match for certain and it surpassed the hype and expectations in intensity.
The rock solid performers were the usual suspects. Savannah Fox has clearly improved. This writer remembered Savannah when she first met Cheyenne down on the farm in an erotic mauling by Ms. Jewel (In some circles affectionately known as Sugar Chey Chey).
Savannah is clearly all grown up now.
The Savannah we see today is one who now is more often viewed as the frontrunner when she engages and for good reason. You will see what I mean when her matches are put up for sale at femwin.com.
Today’s women’s submission wrestling world is a global theater and that proved to be true as two formidable world travelers, Maria from Brazil and Alessia from Bulgaria descended from the sky and landed to send a message that in the new world, a female wrestler had better acquire some MMA skills.
Among the vastly improved included the sultry blonde beauty Pharra who had previously competed against Sablique and Skylar. Given her earlier struggles it would be easy to underestimate the Las Vegas rising star and rise to the occasion she did. Her matches were so intense and injury riddled that she had to skip the final day due to an extremely sore body.
She gave 100 percent and more.
The tanned Miami beauty Mikaela blessed with gorgeous feminine muscle from sands of hard work was full throttle, racing into her matches like a Florida speed boat. Crockett and Tubbs would be so proud they’d have to change their Armani suits, stained with extensive sweat.
Samantha Grace needs no introduction. The journey level So. Cal sexy sensation was at it again in one erotic gun fight after another. Samantha is one of the stars that always shines the brightest.
Shauna Ryanne has ascended to an elite status in her standard Modus Operandi. Quietly and elegantly. As sturdy as the ex-military soldier is, even she succumbed to the intensity of this unusually fierce and energetic competition. It’s the most intense Femwin Event to date. Shauna was injured and prematurely exited the extravaganza.
The rest of the star studded cast included Diana, Loren, Sablique, Ashley and a sensational newcomer named Jei.
Friday night returned the popular Scissors Circle which saw one volunteer after another scream for mercy before they almost passed out. Truly.
As the custom with Femwin, Female Competition International and Femcompetitor Magazine, the leadership treats our beautiful grapplers to a nice sit down dinner. Warm and delicious Japanese food that night was just what the Samurai ordered. A fun time was had by all.
Saturday night after the matches concluded, attendance at one of the best Smorgasbords in Las Vegas was the prize. The variety was amazing. The choice of most was Crab Legs. The Femwin entourage flew to great heights after quickly gobbling down hot sandwiches and ice cold beer by attending “Love”.
The Beatles music came to life and infused excitement, melancholy and a few tears as our group enjoyed “LOVE”; a celebration of the musical legacy of The Beatles at the world renowned Cirque Du Soleil.
The Las Vegas entertainment giant explains, “Drawn from the poetry of the lyrics, LOVE explores the content of the songs in a series of scenes inhabited by real and imaginary people. The international cast of 60 channels a raw, youthful energy underscored by aerial performance, extreme sports and urban, freestyle dance.”
The show plays at a specially built theatre at The Mirage in Las Vegas.
A joint venture between Cirque and the Beatles’ Apple Corps Ltd, it is the first theatrical production that Apple Corps Ltd. has partnered in. Love is written and directed by Dominic Champagne. Music directors are Sir George Martin, producer of nearly all of the Beatles’ records, and his son, record producer Giles Martin. A soundtrack album of the show was released in November 2006.
The project arose from discussions in 2000 between George Harrison and his friend Guy Laliberté, one of Cirque’s founders. Three years of negotiations between surviving members of The Beatles, Sir Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, The Beatles widows Olivia Harrison (representing George Harrison) and Yoko Ono (representing John Lennon), The Beatles’ holding company Apple Corps Ltd. and the MGM Mirage culminated in an agreement.

The inside scoop is that the leadership is tentatively planning for October, 2015 for another dazzling display of stellar women’s wrestling. Our attending writer informed us that given the surging interest in the event, they may expand from three days to five.
