January 5, 2022,
If you focus your wardrobe attention on Fashion trends, you are essentially saying “me as well’, similar to others.
Sometimes millions of others. That’s the weakness in wearing sweaters and T-Shirts with logos.
There are so many other people wearing the same exact thing.
Style is a matter of reflecting who you are as an individual.
No one else can imitate your personal style in the long-term. Only you can do that.
Is it important to have a personal style?
Much of that depends upon what you do for a living or what circle you are in at this point in your life. Especially if you are in college.
There are no limits in terms of how you can create your personal style but at times, we might need a little help.
Fashion Week is an ideal vehicle to drive your creative juices.
A fashion week is a fashion industry event, lasting approximately one week, where fashion designers, brands or “houses” display their latest collections in runway fashion shows to buyers and the media. These events influence trends for the current and upcoming seasons.
In recent years, shows have begun to feature garments that are available for sale immediately, online or in stores. The other move has been to “see now, buy now” shows, often featuring clickable video, where looks are available online immediately following, or even during the show.
The most prominent fashion weeks are held in the fashion capitals of the world; Paris, Milan, London and New York, or the “Big Four” which receive the majority of press coverage.
Though not as duly noted as other influential cultural cities in the world, Los Angeles also has a fashion week which is hosted bi-annually, showcasing the newest collections by LA based and international designers alike.
Okay, so Los Angeles is making efforts to create the Big Five.
If any region can do it, it’s L.A.
We would like to be inspired.
At their Los Angeles fashion house lafw.net, they inspire, “LA Fashion Week® is an organization dedicated to raising the profile of fashion in the United States with focus on the emergence of Los Angeles as one of the most important cultural cities in the world. Founded in 2010, and recognized as the official Fashion Week for the city of LA as declared by Mayor Eric Garcetti, California State Senator Ben Allen, and the White House for LAFW’s programs and initiatives on diversity.
We are proud to be a leader in supporting the growing community of artists & designers that are a part of the cultural renaissance in LA and bringing them to the world stage.”
Great minds in high places. Raising the profile of fashion.
Inspiring all of us with unique fashion ideas.
They have been doing a lot to achieve that goal. Busy, busy, busy.
Part of their collective includes working with the creative group at Art Hearts Fashion.
Let’s stroll over to their home, in style. They share, “Art Hearts Fashion is the leading platform dedicated to bringing innovative designers and artists to the forefront of fashion week.
Our coast-to-coast contemporary events bring both the most renowned designers, and the sharpest up-and-coming emerging designers, to the runway in New York, Los Angeles, Miami, and beyond. Founded in 2010, AHF has become a driving force for fashion, art, and entertainment.

We are fascinated with what we seeing here.
Celebrities apparently have been captivated by Los Angeles Fashion Week. As you might have guessed.
They speak to that and add, “A go-to for stylists, media, and celebrities, AHF has been attended by Britney Spears, Oscar Winner Adrien Brody, Kelly Rutherford, Nick Cannon, CeeLo Green, Drew Barrymore, Adriana Lima, Curtis Young “50 Cent”, Jason Derulo, Tyson Beckford, , Philip Bloch, Steve Madden, Nicky Jam, Linsday Lohan, Floyd Mayweather, Terrell Owens, Ashanti, Jonathan Cheban, and many more.

Can we see a product sample?
