Family, her phone and chocolate.
Jada Sezer can think of at least three things that are important to her.
We can think of at least 100 reasons why the incredibly sensuous and photogenic British Model Jada Sezer is mesmerizing.
Just take one look at her and you’ll see what we mean.
Although several agencies exist to represent shapely girls, and designers such as H&M and ASOS are leading the way with ranges for larger figures, research indicates that most modeling jobs are challenging to secure for anyone much larger than a size 12 or 14.
That being said, Jada is considered a rising star in the fashion industry.
Time for a meet and greet to see why.
At her evolving and dynamic site jadasezer.com we find her fascinating bio released in September of 2016. “I grew up in London, England, my mum never wore makeup or cared for materialistic things, my dad valued ‘golden bracelets of education’. We were a simple family, I played the violin and was an avid swimmer, naively detached from the media’s wrath and fashions ideal’s.
Mental health and enabling people to empower themselves was my passion. In 2011 I graduated with a BSc in Counselling Psychology and went on to specialize with an MA in Child Psychotherapy.
At 25 I decided I didn’t want to therapeutically slap the plaster over media inflicted eating disorders, I wanted to change the reason people were being made to feel so depressed & disempowered.
I decided to change the skewed perception of beauty, particularly self-esteem. This idea took shape as becoming an unconventional size 16 girl model. I relentlessly connected with photographers through social media & persuaded them to help me recreate the images I saw in Vogue. I wanted to show girls like me they we can look incredible too!
I posted them online and the images went viral. I not only grasped the attention of nearly 80,000 followers but industry elites including top London modelling agency Models1.
I spent the next three years signed to agencies overseas, travelling Europe and living in New York. It was an incredible experience but I still had a fiery urge that there was more I could do. I was striped back and focused on becoming the ‘good’ model rather than an activist. I remember at the start telling The Independent in one of my very first interviews ‘I don’t just want to be a model, I want to be a role model’.
Reflection brought clarity and that was when SEZER was born.
What is SEZER?
Working in fashion educated me on the glass ceiling dictated by the fashion houses, corporations and the top tier elitists. Simply being a model, especially a plus size model was never going to disrupt change as fast as I wanted.
Fashion & beauty is sometimes sweet voice that enchants us with the desirable illusion of perfection & happiness if we abide by its idea of ‘beautiful’. What some companies don’t take responsibility for is the impact they inflict on our mental health, self-esteem & well-being.
I decided to create my own brand SEZER as a responsible brand, known as ‘the armor you wear to take on the world’. Not only does it give everyone access to quality contemporary fashion but it ranges from sizes 8-24 with the main aim to merge mainstream and ‘plus size’. We are all women. We all deserve to be great.”
Jada is another perfect example of why, when it comes to your dreams, you can’t rely on others to bring your gift to the world. You get fire in your belly and march forward with creativity and sacrifice yourself.
We can see some of that creativity at work in her interview with the global news and entertainment group independent.co.uk. In terms creativity in style she smiles, “There is a huge public demand for cool, funky, fresh clothes that a bigger-sized woman can wear. People associate plus-sized in a negative way, as something that is frumpy, old, outdated. But I want to get people thinking outside the box and portray plus-sized women in a certain light.”
Point taken.
At Femcompetitor Magazine we love it when the shapely models reveal what they love to eat. We are glad they are not handcuffed, bound and gagged by those crazy diets that have beautiful girls starving themselves into a body form that many of us don’t like anyway.
Life is balance, so gorgeous curvy girls, please go ahead and eat what you like and of course exercise and live a healthy life style like we all should, but by all means, please eat.
So in Jada’s case, she loves chocolate. Who doesn’t?
Sine Jada is such a classy, sweet and super cute girl, we ask the question, where we can get some high end chocolate in her home territory of London?
We look as high as Big Ben and we found a place that is mouth-watering and would make Jada proud and satisfied.
Ladies and gents, someone would like to talk to you about your sweet tooth at the fancy and tasty paulayoung.co.uk. “Paul Young is a groundbreaking and inspirational chocolatier who is at the forefront of the British chocolate scene. Paul’s passion for his craft and his cutting edge creativity have won him numerous awards and led to him being ranked amongst the world’s best chocolatiers.
Paul has a reputation as an incredibly creative flavor alchemist who often develops flavor combinations that are original, experimental, sometimes daring, yet always perfectly balanced.
He is the only chocolatier in London working in a truly artisan way. He and his team make all their creations completely by hand in the kitchens at each shop, in small batches and at every stage using fresh ingredients. Compounds, concentrates, essences, preservatives and additives are not used.
After studying hotel catering and management at New College, Durham and Leeds Metropolitan University, Paul quickly worked through the ranks of a restaurant kitchen to the position of head pastry chef for Marco Pierre White at Quo Vadis and Criterion.
His first book ‘Adventures with Chocolate’ won the World’s Best Chocolate Book at the Gourmand Cookbook Awards in Paris, was shortlisted for the Andre Simon Award and included in the Independent’s Top 50 cookbooks.
Paul is a regular on our television screens in the UK, with appearances including This Morning and Sunday Brunch, The Apprentice, Junior Masterchef and Paul Hollywood’s Pies and Puds and in the US on The Nate Berkus Show and The Today Show.
In 2014 Paul was named Outstanding British Chocolatier by the International Chocolate Awards.”
With a resume like that, let’s face it, you know the chocolate is great.
Okay fantasy time. This writer is imagining sitting down at a London street side café, drinking fancy coffee and eating some of Paul’s chocolate with Jada.
We loved introducing you to Jada Sezer as she is just starting to blaze her trail, but as we’ve explained to you right from the beginning, there is so much to love about Jada that in our admiration, we too are just getting started.
