A pain in the neck (not your co-worker or spouse) which is truly a physical throbbing can be very annoying and aggravating.
They are just so hard to get rid of and can last for days, even weeks.
So when there is a product that suggests that if you use it and it structures your posture while working or sitting at your computer and it can help prevent the injury, it gets your attention.
This occurred when we saw the product Better Back being pitched on Shark Tank.
Shark Tank is an American reality television series that premiered on August 9, 2009, on ABC. The show is a franchise of the international format Dragons’ Den, which originated in Japan in 2001. Shark Tank shows aspiring entrepreneur-contestants make business presentations to a panel of “shark” investors, who then choose whether or not to invest.
The show is currently in its eighth season, and has been a ratings success in its timeslot. It has also won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Structured Reality Program twice. On March 3, 2016, ABC renewed the series for an eighth season, which began on September 23, 2016.
It seems that virtually everyone does have a dream about attaining financial prosperity along with traveling through life without neck and back pain.
Our great female grappling industry is an exception to the rule so you can reduce the possibility of neck injuries but you can’t eliminate them.
Two matches come to mind.
KARA VS KATIE
Here is the producer’s description. “Mistress Kara during this Dojo Event is kicking beautiful behinds and taking names. Katie, a shapely gorgeous mom from Canada is next up as a notch on Kara’s American belt. Once the battle begins, she completely dominates Katie. To keep good relations with our great Canadian neighbors, we decide to put Katie in a position to be more competitive. Will it work? We’ll see. Nice up close aggressive action with two beautiful women with curves in all of the right places. Another girl fight at the Dojo.”
The rub here is that at one point, Katie takes a tough roll on her neck and the next day it’s gotta hurt.
Olivia D’Angelo vs Kait Snow
Then there is a fierce battle between cute girl Kait Snow and gorgeous San Jose tough girl, Olivia D’Angelo. Here is the match description. “Sometimes we show others outside of our circle previews of our matches and when someone saw this they honestly expressed, “Wow, they are really going at it.” Very true. That’s Olivia vs Kait for you. They blossomed into strong rivals, so bad that at another event, the producer decided not to match them up, even though Olivia requested it. . Here they are matched up and things get so intense at one point we have to briefly stop the match due to injury. It’s not like they don’t like each other, there is just a pecking order to be established. They are both young, incredibly sexy, shapely gorgeous with lots of butter. If you love two young curvy girls in bathing suits battling it out, this is perfect.”
Yes there was an injury and fortunately not devastating but sweet shapely Kait took a tumble that bent her neck.

In our industry while we can’t prevent the injuries during battle, what can be done afterwards to help relieve the pain?
Let’s get some ideas from a visiting writer.

Your neck is a delicate structure attached to intricate muscles in the back, chest, head and shoulders etc. These structures help to fix your neck thereby making it tight.
Your neck does a lot of work when it looks sideways at any object of interest or you respond by nodding when you are being asked a couple of questions. Your neck muscles are constantly working to support the weight of your head and this is a very difficult task as they are mostly designed to help you move or perform a certain motion. Bones are the main supporting apparatus of your neck and the muscles of the neck only help assist motion of the main supporting apparatus which is the bone. Tilting you head down and sideways could in a long period make your neck develop spurs which could cause headaches and neck pains etc. To prevent yourself from having such neck pain, you can easily adopt these few hints as they can help you relieve, prevent and eradicate neck pain.

Use a neck brace. In cases where the pain is so severe, you can use a neck brace to hold the neck in the desired position. This method is recommended if you feel the pain is so severe and you can’t bear it much further. To do perform this, simply fold a bath towel in a cylindrical pattern and wrap it round the affected part of the neck directly. Let the skulls base sit directly on it and then assume a comfy position.
Massage your neck. You can simply rub affected parts of your neck with your hands and get a soothing relief.
Sleep it off. If you feel so much pain on your neck, you can simply take a nap or sleep off as the pain will be gone by the time you wake up.
See a doctor. If pain is more than severe and threatening, quickly see a doctor as most times the pain radiating out could also be a sign of an underlying disease.
