Over 200 years ago according to Aboriginal lore, there is a vivid description of the great white wave. Most likely it spoke to the power and force of a large tsunami.
DWW’s Jenny was smaller in frame but make no mistake about it; she was a major force on the blue mats.
Her name meaning in Celtic history is White Wave. Given her 5ft stature, like a tsunami that catches everyone off guard, it appears that Jenny’s wrestling lived up to her namesake.
Simply put, DWW’s Jenny extracted more victories than I remembered.
I can’t say enough when I began to revisit Jenny’s memory, there is often this awkward moment in the pre-match ceremony where Jenny is looking up into the eyes of a taller, cocky opponent who feels certain that just because she is taller than Jenny that the match is hers.
Jenny on the other hand is quietly confident that things are not going to go as expected. Her taller foe is in for a tsunami surprise.
Her aggressive resume includes battles against Maggy, Anni, Kim-Ly, Lara, Pia, Ingrid, Ivy, Tessa, Emanuella, Eva N, Mel, Pamela, Yvonne, Nina, Anastasia, Marketa, Leslie, Lisa, Sofia C, Orsi S, Rene, Kira, Andy (yes a girl) and others.
What is very noticeable about her wrestling adventures is that she is very consistent in defeating the newer girls that she is expected to defeat. In fact she makes it clear that she looks forward to dominating them.
At least there is no tsunami surprise.
Her signature win came against the veteran Anastasia who is DWW tough by any standard yet succumbed to our determined Jenny.
When she encounters the veterans it’s more of a struggle but they all know that they have been in a tough fight. (Except for veteran Ingrid. Ouch!)
Her reviews certainly speak to this.
“Maggy is a beginner and she’s unskilled but strong. Her specialty is the SGPIN. Jenny is much smaller than blonde Maggy, but she’s a fighter and pretty experienced. Maggy wanted to show us that she deserves being part of our team and she really wanted to win this match versus much smaller Jenny.”
Sorry Maggy.
Here is another review.
“Andy has so far had only one short match but she is excited about wrestling and we believe she is a talent, too. Jenny has had one match and she’s a real talent. Mixing them up in the garden was a quite good and exciting idea. They have a pins and submissions match. Although they’re novices they’re not only enthusiastic but they also display some surprising skills. This match is very close and if you like aggressive novices you’ll like it. We believe that these two will have a rivalry now and in the future.”
Sorry Andy.
“I have been a fan of Jenny for a long time. She always wrestles hard, appears to have fun, and looks good doing it. Even though Lara is bigger and probably stronger than Jenny, Jenny has a lot more wrestling experience.
Both girls looked good in their outfits. The wrestling is good as both girls are able to get the upper hand. As the match progresses, one girl is able to take control. She gains several falls, each one in a different form than the others. The final fall is a little disappointing as the loser appears to give up.”
Sorry Lara.
Finally, here is the description of her match against 18 year old Rene.
“Both are extremely talented and learn quickly. Jenny hasn’t lost a single match so far and she’s not willing to lose to smaller and thinner Rene either. They are starting with arm wrestling and Jenny must (unfortunately for her) learn that former gymnast Rene isn’t that weak in her arms and body as she might look like. This is a tough battle and fans of novices who are strong, willing to win and giving 100% will really enjoy this match. Some great pins are some of the highlights of this entertaining match.”
Sorry Rene.
It looks like they were all beautiful girls that got caught up on a wave.
Let’s expand upon Jenny’s name and inner qualities with an analysis from the fun and deep thinkers at sheknows.com.
“People with this name have a deep inner desire for travel and adventure, and want to set their own pace in life without being governed by tradition. They are excited by change, adventure, and excitement. They are dynamic, visionary and versatile, able to make constructive use of freedom. They fight being restricted by rules and conventions. They tend to be optimistic, energetic, intelligent, and to make friends easily. They may be changeable, restless, untidy, and rebellious.”
Jenny certainly is energetic, that’s why they often call her Fitness Girl. This most likely is the key to Jenny’s victory marches is that she stays in great shape.
If someone were thinking about getting involved in the fitness industry our research indicates it’s trending upwards in terms of interest.
According to blog.gyminsight.com, “The fitness industry isn’t going away anytime soon and there will be opportunities in abundance. As a small gym owner you want to make sure that you pay close attention to the trends, without making any false steps like over committing to short-lived fads in fitness. You want make sure every dollar you invest is effective.”
Another industry expert franchisehelp.com expresses, “With the obesity epidemic that is currently going on in the United States, fitness and weight loss has been growing in popularity, if not becoming an obsession, for Americans. The rate of obesity grew steadily from 1987 to 2007 and all states except Colorado consider at least one fifth of their population obese. Over 72 million Americans, or one third of the population of the United States, are considered clinically obese. One billion people around the world were considered over ideal weight. In terms of fitness franchises, the two main sectors in the industry are fitness centers, or gyms, and weight loss solutions such as clinics.”
Jenny sure picked the right industry to stay active in. Her wrestling career appears to have continued at Fighting Dolls so even though her DWW wrestling days are done, her grappling career isn’t.
Jenny is refreshing to watch because she brings a wave of tireless energy to her matches. Her shapely form and beauty make her a fan favorite and crowd pleaser as well. She also possesses a nice sense of humor and a winning smile.
If she keeps surprising her opponents with one victory after another, they may need to change her nickname to Tsunami Girl.
