Searching for Bobby Fischer is a 1993 American drama film written and directed by Steven Zaillian. The film stars Max Pomeranc, Joe Mantegna, Joan Allen, Ben Kingsley and Laurence Fishburne. It is based on the life of prodigy chess player Joshua Waitzkin, played by Pomeranc, and adapted from the book of the same name by Joshua’s father Fred.
Josh Waitzkin’s family discovers that he possesses a gift to play chess at the highest level and they seek to nurture it.
In the gymnastic world, young Simone Biles is capturing global attention.
Many young beautiful gymnasts can capture the world’s attention but Simone has been shining bright for an extremely long time.

She was having fun and started copying other gymnasts in the back of the gym. One of the coaches, Ms. Ronnie saw her and told Coach Aimee. They sent a letter home to her parents. Simone started taking recreational classes and the rest is history.
In Simone Biles‘ first season as a senior, she won the 2013 US national title — then took home the world all-around title two months later. Impressive? Absolutely. And now she’s done that two more years in a row.
With three straight world all-around titles, three US national titles, and 10 world gold medals (14 medals in all), Biles is simply unstoppable.”

She’s part of the growing artistic gymnastics community.
Ms. Biles is the three-time World all-around champion (2013-15), three-time United States national all-around champion (2013-15), three-time world floor champion (2013-15), two-time world balance beam champion (2014, 2015), and a member of the gold medal-winning American team at the 2014 and the 2015 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships.
Her star continues to surge into orbit.
She was a world all-around champion and the first woman to win three consecutive world all-around titles. Despite only three appearances, she is also the most decorated American female gymnast in World Championships history, with a total of fourteen medals, ten of them gold.
Securing ten gold medals, Simone also holds the record for most gold medals won by a female gymnast in the history of the World Championships.

As we move up the timeline, Simone competed at the 2015 AT&T American Cup at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas on March 7. She placed first with a score of 62.299, 4.467 points ahead of second-place finisher U.S. teammate Mykayla Skinner.
Research indicates that she verbally committed to UCLA on August 4, 2014, announcing her decision on Twitter.
On July 29, 2015, she announced that she would turn professional, forfeiting her NCAA eligibility.
