Wouldn’t life be grand if we could take every day off and still get paid?
In some ways that was the premise of the 1986 classic American comedy, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.
The engaging actor Matthew Broderick’s youthful teenage character had an uncanny skill at cutting classes and getting away with it. Intending to make one last duck-out before graduation, Ferris calls in sick, “borrows” a Ferrari, and embarks on a one-day journey through the streets of Chicago.
As an audience we travel with him and laugh hilariously along the way.
“Have fun’ is my message. Be silly. You’re allowed to be silly. There’s nothing wrong with it.”…. Jimmy Fallon
Mr. Broderick has won two Tony Awards, one for Best Featured Actor in a Play for Brighton Beach Memoirs (1983), and one for Best Actor in a Musical for How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying (1995). As of 2016, Broderick is the youngest winner of the Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Play.
Some people have all the fun.
The beautiful shapely Indie wrestler Jenny Rose seems to have found the best of both worlds. She doesn’t have to take the day off from her job and she absolutely loves showing up to work because she’s having so much fun.
It’s evident in all of her matches that we have reviewed online.
She has faced the best of the best in the squared circle staring down Sassy Stephie, LuFisto, Brittany Blake, Jewells Malone, Nevaeh, Annie Social, Hania, Tessa Blanchard, Gabby Gilbert, Alpha Female, Santana Garrett, Nikki Storm, Marti Belle, Hailey Hatred, Jessie Brooks and Nikki Syx to name a few.

In reviewing Jenny’s fights like most Fem Competitors she has traveled the world and one of her stops where she seems to be having a ton of fun is wrestling in Japan.
The informative industry site prowrestling.com shares, “Jenny Rose international female superstar has competed for various wrestling promotions in the United States such as WSU Wrestling, Shimmer Women’s Athletes, WXW, NWA, and Ring of Honor Wrestling. Jenny Rose also competed in Japan for the Diana Promotion which propel Jenny Rose into an international superstar having memorable matches with Sareee, Rosa Bonita, Piyota Mask, Mima Shimoda and Takako Inoue.”
She speaks about her life in Japan in a revealing interview at wrestlingheads.com. The Japanese game is very different from the American product as she found out after two years of wrestling in America.
She had to work her way up battling very hungry veterans and newer upcoming stars as well.
“Even though you’re growing up, you should never stop having fun.”…. Nina Dobrev
Most notable to her is how the Japanese fans are far more reserved as they sit and watch the high octane matches while in America the crowds are far more boisterous.
Our super star made her biggest splash in America.
She is well known throughout the independent circuit and has worked for promotions including Wrestling Is Respect (WIR), SHIMMER, World Xtreme Wrestling (WXW), Ring of Honor (ROH) and World Woman Pro-Wrestling Diana (Diana).
Jenny debuted for SHIMMER Women Athletes as a masked wrestler under the name Jamilia Craft at Volume 29 on April 10, 2010 in a losing effort to Mercedes Martinez.
Some of her titles include:
- DWF Starlet title defeating Jessie Brook (May 15, 2010);
- WXW C4 women’s title defeating Niya (March 17, 2012);
- IndyGurlz women’s title defeating Veda Scott (March 24, 2012)
Jenny is from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Philadelphia is the largest city in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the fifth-most populous in the United States, with an estimated population in 2014 of 1,560,297.
The area’s many universities and colleges make Philadelphia a top international study destination, as the city has evolved into an educational and economic hub.
Philadelphia is notable for its rich history, on display at the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall – where the Declaration of Independence and Constitution were signed – and other American Revolutionary sites. No less iconic are the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, immortalized by Sylvester Stallone’s triumphant run in the film “Rocky.”
At the city’s official tourist visitor’s site visitphilly.com they speak about their Phillyosophy. “What we think and the way we say it is just as interesting as the city we live in. More than a point of view, we call it a certain… Phillyosophy.”
They continue by making it clear that having fun is a way of life. “We know who we are, and we’re proud to be just that. We believe our year is every year. And that world-class chefs should be down the street from local pubs. We love neighborhoods, gayborhoods and every kind of hood in-between.”
The fun travel site lonelyplant.com is very impressed with the Pennsylvania giant. “It has its own distinct traditions, and outsize food, music and art scenes – unfettered by crushing real-estate prices. Because the city’s oldest buildings are so well preserved, America’s early history and its role in building democracy is sometimes more accessible here than in the capital. Moreover, it’s a beautiful place that is easy and rewarding to explore, its streets dotted with gracious squares and linked with cobbled alleys.”
“While you’re going through this process of trying to find the satisfaction in your work, pretend you feel satisfied. Tell yourself you had a good day. Walk through the corridors with a smile rather than a scowl. Your positive energy will radiate. If you act like you’re having fun, you’ll find you are having fun.”…… Jean Chatzky
The lady pro wrestling world is very impressed with Philadelphia’s star show stopper in Jenny Rose.
How can they not be? She’s having so much fun.
She says so at her Facebook expressing with all smiles that she is living the dream as a professional wrestler and her heart is in her art.
As fans, we are having so much fun watching Jenny wrestle, our heart is in her art as well.
