Samuel Langhorne Clemens, better known by his professional name Mark Twain, was a great American author and humorist. He wrote The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and its sequel, Adventures of Huckleberry Finn; the latter often called “the Great American Novel”.
In terms of getting things done, he was quoted as saying, “Thunder is good. Thunder is impressive…..but it’s lightning that does the work.”
DWW’s Beautiful blonde wrestler Miriam certainly has thunder in her game, but it’s when she strikes like lightning that she’s most impressive. Much of her power lies in her incredibly fit body which no doubt infuses our Eastern Euro grappler with confidence.
Her power to entertain and excite may originate with her name which in Hebrew means rebellious.
According to the informed naming site sheknows.com, “People with this name have a deep inner desire to use their abilities in leadership, and to have personal independence. They would rather focus on large, important issues, and delegate the details.
People with this name tend to be passionate, compassionate, intuitive, romantic, and to have magnetic personalities. They are usually humanitarian, broadminded and generous, and tend to follow professions where they can serve humanity. Because they are so affectionate and giving, they may be imposed on. They are romantic and easily fall in love, but may be easily hurt and are sometimes quick-tempered.”
The hurt that the site seems to speaking of is one that is internalized.
We second that.
In Miriam’s case though, she has the ability to inflict a lot of hurt of the external nature on her opponents.
Her signature match where she demonstrated the ability to inflict pain in glorious terms was against, well…..Gloria.
Miriam truly lived up to her name exhibiting passion and magnetism. In the pre-match interview, Gloria oozed with experience and confidence. She made it clear the Miriam had never faced a real women in a tough match like the one she was about to have and to put it mildly, Miriam was in for the butt whipping of her sexy, slender life. She sure had me convinced. I was already starting to feel sorry for Miriam and began to compose her eulogy.
Gloria spoke such a good game, watching her relaxing in her casual skirt, all laid back. All she needed was a pair of sun glasses perched in “style cool”, on top of her head.
Then Miriam showed up and all you know what broke loose.
Here kitty, kitty. There kitty, kitty. Hair everywhere kitty, kitty.
As we used to say at Ben Franklin Junior High in Daly City; those chicks are really going at it.
It was a match for the ages, complete with Gloria complaining about this, snarling about that and all and all mad at the blonde gritty kitty.
Talk about shutting someone up.
Here is Miriam’s resume in the female war room by the Danube. She contested against Emanuella, Antonia, Nikita, Mary-Ann, Eva, Eva N., Gloria, Mel, Anastasia, Nina, Pamela, Luna, Dani, Yvonne, Lucille, Petra, Gloria, Marketa, Leslie, Sofia C, Orsi S, Kendra, Vladka, Kata, Kira and Rene to name a few.
On the opposite of the spectrum it was Miriam who got humbled against Marketa.
When you say, “Girls like you I’m eating for breakfast!” I think you should say that on an empty stomach with a dining partner who can back you up. That day Miriam seemed to have neither and Marketa made toast of her.
Here’s what one DWW reviewer expressed at this dynamic battle. “This is THE wrestling match many of you had waited for. We were such excited once we could get those two beauties on the mat against each other! Theoretically we had hoped for a great match and some rivalry but in reality it did finally even outclass our best fantasies! Two gorgeous and fit blonde women, absolutely evenly matched”
When she wrestled Nikita, here is what another DWW reviewer had to say about her. “This is a fantastic wrestling match between two tall and strong blondes. Both women have impressive muscles both on their arms and on their legs. They really love wrestling and winning. There are some excellent scissors and you’ll be delighted when watching their muscular calves and thighs being flexed while squeezing the air off the lungs of their opponents. This is excellent submission wrestling particularly for the fans of strong legs and strong scissors.”
A woman of varied tastes and interests, our blonde sweet heart loves spaghetti, white wine, shopping (who doesn’t), cycling, swimming, and dancing to disco.
Wait, I left something out.
She just doesn’t just ride women until they give. She loves horseback riding as well.
The modern world of women’s wrestling takes us on a global excursion filled with excitement, new experiences, life lessons and mind expansion.
Now we already know that Miriam eats girls for breakfast but when it comes to horses, besides hay, what do they like to eat?
If you are fearful, a horse will back off. If you are calm and confident, it will come forward. For those who are often flattered or feared, the horse can be a welcome mirror of the best in human nature.………Clare Balding
The respected site petparents.com provides some good advice. “You might already know about plants that are poisonous for horses like ornamental yews, red maple leaves and oleander, but did you know some foods we eat every day can be just as dangerous? So while it may be tempting to feed your horse leftovers or table scraps, avoid feeding the following foods to make sure he or she stays safe and healthy:
- Corn, bread, cooked rice.1 For horses with insulin resistance problems or older horses prone to equine Cushing’s disease, these high starch/high sugar foods should be avoided because they can raise insulin to dangerous levels and increase the risk for laminitis.
- Broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage and peppers.1 All of these vegetables are potentially toxic to horses.
- Potatoes (including the peel) and tomatoes.1,2 Potatoes contain alkaloids that are toxic to horses and both of these vegetables can cause depression, weakness and colic.
- Onions and garlic.1 When consumed in large amounts, both raw onions and garlic can cause a possibly fatal disorder called Heinz body anemia.
- Chocolate.1,2 You may have already heard that chocolate is toxic for dogs – it’s just as dangerous for horses. Chocolate contains the alkaloid theobromine, a chemical that horses, dogs, and cats are unable to efficiently metabolize. In sufficient amounts, theobromine can not only cause a positive drug test for horses engaged in competition, but also epileptic seizures, heart attacks, internal bleeding and eventually death.
- Ground beef, steak scraps or chicken skin.1 As an herbivore (plant eater), a horse’s digestive system is not designed to metabolize meat.
As a rule, foods that are closest to a horse’s natural diet make the best treats, but for healthy, active horses, these foods are also acceptable in moderation:
- Melon rinds including watermelon, honeydew and cantaloupe, and corncobs without the corn.1 Remember to cut rinds and cobs into bite-size pieces for easier chewing.
- Bananas (peel included), berries, apple pieces, grapes, pitted peaches, pitted dates, grapefruit, oranges, melons, pears, pineapple, carrot pieces, celery, lettuce and roasted peanuts (not raw).
- Peppermints and sugar cubes.
The educational site the humanesociety.org speaks well to this. “Ideally, you should wait an hour or so after your horse has finished a meal before riding him. If you’re going to do something really strenuous, it should be closer to three hours. Having the digestive system full of food gives the horse’s lungs less room to work, and makes strenuous exercise harder on him. In addition, blood flow is diverted away from the digestive organs during periods of exertion, so gut movement slows and colic may be a real danger. You also need to exercise caution when feeding a horse after work. Let the horse cool down completely—his breathing rate should be back to normal, and his skin should not feel hot or sweaty.”
The one thing I do not want to be called is First Lady. It sounds like a saddle horse...…….Jackie Kennedy
Be honest. Didn’t you learn something here? I sure did.
I will concede that before researching Miriam and watching her wrestle that I had under estimated her. I was truly taken with not only how she is a great fighter but how she is fearless as well. Fear is found many places, but it didn’t seem to be present in her engagements.
She’s fantastic at the ground wars stockpiled with fierce body presses and crushing head scissors. Her relentless style reduced formidable Mel to tears.
People who are unable to motivate themselves must be content with mediocrity, no matter how impressive their other talents.………Andrew Carnegie
The more you learn about Miriam, feeling impressed is an understatement. Along with English she speaks Czech and German.
Harnessing a game complete with thunder and the ability to strike with the precision of lightning, Miriam will always be remembered as one of DWW’s titans.
