Sometimes in life, though unpleasant, some things must be said.
Please remember. It’s not what you say; it’s how you say it. That’s diplomacy and diplomacy is all about being tactful.
According to the informative sight mindtools.com, tact is the ability to tell the truth in a way that considers other people’s feelings and reactions. It allows you to give difficult feedback, communicate sensitive information, and say the right thing to preserve a relationship.
Having that as a back drop, I would like to say as a writer, I love DWWs Mary Ann. I’m sure you do too.
Now, when you’re getting ready to wrestle Luna, DWW’s former bad girl who was cute as a button and confident as a fox in a locked hen house with no exits; wouldn’t it be wise to use diplomacy in your pre-match jousting?
Mary Ann didn’t. She described Luna as “priggish”.
For all of you who use the word priggish in your daily encounters in describing people that you don’t like, you may briefly look away. For the rest of us, priggish essentially means the other person is arrogant, self-righteous and full of themselves.
How’s that for diplomacy?
All in good fun I’m sure. The loser of that match was going to have to hold their breath and with stand a good face sitting. As usual, Luna was confident and for good reason. Mary Ann had to hold her breath for quite some time.
The scouting reporting on the beautiful and sexy Mary Ann is that she is highly skilled, energetic, determined and loves to apply a good head and body scissors. The challenge for our Czech sensation is that she when she wrestles a tough opponent, she doesn’t really seem to have a plan.
An example of that was when she wrestled the gorgeous and thin DWW star Denise with emphasis on thin. How in the world did Mary Ann allow Denise to pin her with pin counts above ten over and over? At some point with her size and strength, she should have been able to do something about that. However, whatever Mary Ann’s plan is……
Most of the time, it works.
Mary Ann’s resume includes grappling Luna, Jana, Antonia, Renata, Pamela, Vladka, Miriam, Emanuella, Gloria, Bea S, Zsuzsa, Tekla, Nikita, Lucille, Nina, Denise, Eva N, Mel and Anastasia.
Fortunately research seems to indicate that she is continuing to wrestle at Fighting Dolls and renewing her rivalry with former DWW alums, Luna, Pamela, Kim-Ly, Denise, Vladka, Patricia and Anastasia.
The management at dwwgalaxy.com explains, “Mary-Ann has always been a tall lady but recently she has put on more weight and lots of muscle. Due to her many recent matches versus strong and skilled DWW wrestlers like Jana, Denise and Gloria she had additionally learnt a lot about real wrestling versus the best women and therefore she became also much more skilled by today. Nowadays she’s not only bigger but she’s also heavier.”
That sounds sexy to me. A heavy shapely, beautiful European Blonde who can wrestle.
Our favorite naming site sheknows.com expands on the Mary Ann possibilities. “People with this name have a deep inner desire for love and companionship, and want to work with others to achieve peace and harmony. People with this name are excited by change, adventure, and excitement. They are dynamic, visionary and versatile, able to make constructive use of freedom. They fight being restricted by rules and conventions. They tend to be optimistic, energetic, intelligent, and to make friends easily. They may be changeable, restless, untidy, and rebellious.”
That seemed expressive, thoughtful, incisive yet diplomatic.
There’s that word again.
What’s a further connection to Mary Ann? Well as usual we’ll have to travel to find it. FCI hopes to educate and inform. One of the beauties of our industry is that beautiful female wrestlers take us around the world with some powerful life lessons learned.
Once again, let’s visit the Czech Republic.
The respected visitor’s site czech.cz expresses, “The Czech Republic has much to offer for all lovers of artificial gardens and nature parks. In this series, we would like to acquaint you with the most renowned of them. This part will be dedicated to the parks of Prague and its surroundings.”
The expansive information source Wikipedia adds, “The Czech Republic is a landlocked country in Central Europe bordered by Germany to the northwest and west, Austria to the south, Slovakia to the east and Poland to the northeast. Prague, the capital, is the largest city, with 1.3 million residents.”
What are diplomatic relations like between Mary Ann’s home country the Czech Republic and ours, the United States?
On January 8, 2014 it was reported that the US ambassador to the Czech Republic, Norman Eisen, is set to leave Prague later this month, after three and a half years in office.
Here is how a writer at a Czech news source on July 24, 2014 viewed the two country’s relationship in speaking with the out-going US diplomat to the Czech Republic “But it can be argued the Czech-US relationship has not really gone from good to great. Before President Obama took office, Eastern Europe was high on the list of priorities of US foreign policy. Also, the US firm Westinghouse was bidding for a multi-billion nuclear deal in the Czech Republic. These things are now gone. And recently, Czech PM Bohuslav Sobotka rejected President Obama’s proposal to station NATO troops in the Czech Republic. So what makes you think the relations have significantly improved?”
For our readers did you know any of that?
Did you know that there were also strong issues of an anti-corruption campaign that the United States was trying to enact? We won’t digress but if you are not familiar with the issues between the US and the Czech Republic, please check out the interview at http://www.radio.cz/en/section/curraffrs/next-us-ambassador-schapiro-expected-to-be-more-organised-than-departing-eisen
One of the aspects of the DWW group’s relationships with the wrestlers that I admired was that they were tolerant of promoting girls from Austria, Hungary, the Czech Republic and visitors from Germany, France, England and the United States to name a few and did so with great diplomacy.
Fully competitive women’s wrestling is not just about women’s wrestling.
Every competitor needs a signature win to establish herself as one of the DWW Elite and in Mary Ann’s case, for me that was her win over the always tough, Vladka.
May Ann is young; full of spirit, fun to watch, skilled, beautiful, sexy and someone you love to root for.
Now in regards to Luna, since it appears that rivalry will continue, if only we could get Mary Ann to improve her…………….
Okay, can anyone think of a different descriptive word for our blonde beauty to use in her next match against Luna other than priggish?

Some may find other women’s wrestling sites erotic in nature. If you are offended by depictions of women wrestling in erotic situations, please exercise caution in visiting women’s wrestling sites.
