April 22, 2020,
How are you feeling today?
Very well, we hope.
We’re not so much talking about your health as we are about your mood.
No matter your mood, we’re going to try and help you feel better.
Think about it. Wouldn’t you like to feel like this?
Slow down, you move too fast
You got to make the morning last
Just kicking down the cobblestones
Looking for fun and feeling groovy
Ba da-da da-da da-da, feeling groovy
Hello lamppost, what’cha knowing
I’ve come to watch your flowers growin’
Ain’t you got no rhymes for me?
Doo-ait-n-doo-doo, feeling groovy
Ba da-da da-da da-da, feeling groovy
Simon & Garfunkel were an American folk-rock duo consisting of singer-songwriter Paul Simon and singer Art Garfunkel.
One of the best-selling music groups of the 1960s, their biggest hits, including “The Sound of Silence” (1965), “Mrs. Robinson” (1968), “The Boxer” (1969), and “Bridge over Troubled Water” (1970)—reached number one on singles charts worldwide.
Ah, the 1960’s. Lots of feel good music.
From the heart. It wasn’t about money. Truly.
And feeling groovy. Enjoy this while it lasts.

Don’t you wish that you could feel groovy most of the time?
During these pandemic times, we know it is hard to feel groovy but if we can think and meditate upon certain joys of life that are still here, right in front of us, we still can feel a little groovy.
Make that really groovy.
Focusing on family, friends and community, people that are right in front of us every day can bring a measure of happiness to our daily life, whether we are inside of the home or out.
“When I’m happy and in a good mood, I just search for other things that maybe connect to me on another level. I talk to my friends and see how they’re feeling – see what’s going on in their lives.”…Anne-Marie
There are many heroes in our communities that are lifting our spirits.
At frontlinehealthworkers.org they educate, “Frontline health workers are those directly providing services where they are most needed, especially in remote and rural areas. Many are community health workers and midwives, though they can also include local pharmacists, nurses and doctors who serve in community clinics near people in need. They are the first and often the only link to health care for millions of people, are relatively inexpensive to train and support, and are capable of providing many life-saving interventions.”
We can appreciate and attest to that. One person in our circle volunteered at two Northern California hospitals and found it to be a very rewarding experience.
He was on the front lines.
Many individuals and groups around the world are expressing their appreciation for our Frontline workers and doing so in groovy and tasty ways.
Wendy’s fast food restaurants is one of them and they are feeling groovy enough to extend the appreciation to all on this tasty offer.
