Falling in fan love with a beautiful young professional female tennis player when you watch her play for the very first time is similar to a three step program.
First, you’ve probably never heard of her before or you’ve read a little about her but never had seen her play.
Then there she is on a global stage surprising an international television audience with her amazing play against her opponent who was the favorite.
After that, tennis aside, you begin to notice how incredibly good looking she is and has a body to die for. Please don’t lose respect for us for saying the latter.
Finally, once you begin to research her, you find out what a quality person she is and the wonderful organizations that she is associated with.
Some of the tennis beauties from the past that come to mind are Mary Pierce and her sensuous statuesque legs, the Swiss Miss Martina Hingis and her short skirts, Russia’s Elena Dementieva and her flowing blonde hair and strong sexy athletic legs along with France’s Sandrine Testud who was shapely, tall, tan and lovely, right out of a song.
On today’s circuit have you had a chance to watch the young fresh faced American Madison Keys battle it out on the courts?
Here was step one.
It was the third round of the 2016 US Open. Down 1-5 in the third set and two points away from defeat at 4-5, American Madison Keys pulled off the most unlikely of comebacks.
As reported at abc.net.au, “American eighth seed Madison Keys claimed a dramatic comeback win over a tearful Naomi Osaka of Japan to reach the fourth round of the US Open. Leading 5-1 in the third set and on the cusp of the biggest victory of her career, Osaka crumbled as Keys swept the next five games en route to a victory that left her stunned 18-year-old opponent fighting back tears, handing Keys a 7-5, 4-6, 7-6(3) victory.”
What a match that was.
You could feel Ms. Osaka’s desperation and pain as her defining moment and the victory of her career began to slip away.
On the other side of the net you couldn’t help but root for the beautiful young Madison with the girl next door looks as she finally straightened out her previously mind-boggling inconsistent play and began to surge forward.
Madison Keys is an American professional tennis player who has won two WTA Premier grass court tournaments, and is the first American woman to debut in the Top 10 since Serena Williams in 1999, seventeen years earlier.
As of May 2017, she was ranked the world’s number 10 in singles and was the second-highest ranked American player overall behind Serena.
Since the age of nine, Madison has been part of the Chris Evert Academy in Boca Raton, Florida. She is one of the youngest tennis players to win a match on the WTA Tour, at the age of 14 years and 48 days, by beating world No. 81 Alla Kudryavtseva at the 2009 MPS Group Championships.
Madison plays right-handed, has powerful groundstrokes and dominant serves over 100 mph. Her service action is rare for the women’s tour, opting for a platform style rather than the predominant pinpoint style service motion.
According to a video interview she conducted with World Tennis Magazine in August 2011, she first became interested in tennis because she liked Venus Williams’ white tennis dress.
A typical teenage girl, Madison loves chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream, listening to hip-hop and pop music along with watching television.
Her parents are both attorneys.
As we move to step two we’ll let the eyes do the talking.
Isn’t she spectacular?
At times her beauty is breath taking.
Step three is also very impressive.
You can tell the quality of a person’s internal makeup by the company that they keep. Let’s meet some of Madison’s partners.
On March 3, 2017 it was reported at Forbes Magazine, “Rising tennis star Madison Keys has signed a global multi-year agreement with evian, becoming the first American ambassador of the water brand sourced from the French Alps.
The 22-year-old Keys “will be featured in advertising campaigns and point of sale displays at evian’s retail channels in North America,” her management company, IMG, said in an emailed statement. She’ll also take part in new product launches.”
Evian is a brand of mineral water coming from several sources near Évian-les-Bains, on the south shore of Lake Geneva.
In popular culture, Evian is portrayed as a luxury and expensive bottled water.
There is nothing more beautiful and elegant than an American and French union.
The French sponsor has nothing but praise for her. “Madison Keys is an amazing representative for the evian brand and a natural partner for our latest innovation, the 750 ml sport cap,” said Antoine Portmann, General Manager, Danone Waters of America. “Like evian, Madison understands that it’s the source – where you start from – and the journey itself that shapes who and what you are. We’re now excited to join Madison on her journey to athletic greatness, with evian by her side.”
We would love to go on that journey with Madison as well.
In September of 2015 Fortune Magazine shares, “Madison Keys, an American player currently ranked 19th in singles, who also won on Wednesday, has a sliver of the name recognition that makes players like Williams and Sharapova appealing to marketers, but said that her profile has increased during this tournament along with Williams. She counts Nike and Wilson among her sponsors.”
Pitching for Nike and Wilson has to be a dream come true for any rising tennis star.
This partner is of particular interest and uniqueness.
We are not alone in our love for Madison.
Forbes appears to be following Madison once more. On August 24, 2016 they relate, “Madison Keys may be a top-ten tennis player, it wasn’t all that long ago she felt a sense of isolation as a teenager.
That’s why the 21-year-old American has teamed up with FearlesslyGIRL, a North American leadership organization dedicated to empowering young women. Founded by Kate Whitfield, a social entrepreneur, speaker and author, the organization hosts school summits for teenage girls in the U.S. and Canada aimed at boosting self-esteem and creating a sense of sisterhood and support.”
Those are wonderful goals and ideals.
Let’s meet them.
At fearlesslygirl.com they courageously educate, “FearlesslyGirl is an internationally recognized anti-bullying organization dedicated to creating a Kinder Girl World in schools and communities across North America. Through our innovative school assembly programs, classroom curriculum, and campus Chapters, we aim to inspire a generation of girls to be kinder to themselves and each other, putting an end to girl against girl bullying.
Thousands of girls in middle and high school will participate in activities – online and off – throughout the assembly, designed to break down barriers, overcome fears, forgive each other and fearlessly take a stand against bullying.”
How many films have you watched where teenage girls are at war with each other?
Hopefully this educational movement at Fearlessly Girl will help reduce that unfortunate behavior.
We love the company that Madison keeps.
Okay. This athletic American beauty is clearly on our radar now.
Don’t be surprised if she has a great 2017 US Open.
We’re rooting for her.
Along with her growing legion of fans, we’re going to keep showing up for our Madison fix. It’s part of our therapy.
The three step adoration program for Madison is complete.
Now we’re ready for Madison to take the next step towards the top.
