Great Coaches in our life make all of the difference between mediocrity and success.
We never forget them. Sometimes they have an even more powerful influence on our lives than our parents.
Where would we be without them?
There are many celluloid tales that highlight the masters of the coaching world.
Few stand out like the 2000 classic, Remember The Titans starring the box office super star, Denzel Washington.
The storyline went, “In Virginia, high school football is a way of life, an institution revered, each game celebrated more lavishly than Christmas, each playoff distinguished more grandly than any national holiday. And with such recognition, comes powerful emotions. In 1971 high school football was everything to the people of Alexandria. But when the local school board was forced to integrate an all-black school with an all- white school, the very foundation of football’s great tradition was put to the test.”
After watching her myriad of online videos, we can’t help but be impressed with the coaching style of the gorgeous Swiss beauty Andrina Santoro.
Her style is very mellow, honest and easy to understand.
Have you met her before?
Let’s have her introduce herself to you from her site at andrinasantoro.com. “When I was younger, I participated in a variety of sports including ballet, jazz dance, hip hop, salsa and pole dancing. But, I was always skinny and flabby, and I wanted to have a fit body with sexy curves.
About 2 ½ years ago I was diagnosed with a medical condition, and I started to take training more seriously. I was told that I needed to start weightlifting in order to strengthen my neck and back.
I started going to the gym regularly and changed my nutrition completely.
At that time I had no idea of diet and proper training – I just thought I knew. I acquired my current knowledge through hard work, through own experiments and with the help of personal trainers and coaches.
In the beginning I always failed, whether due to wrong advice from personal trainers or lack of motivation. Nevertheless, I never gave up and after a while I started seeing results, got motivated and became addicted to the fitness lifestyle.
Now, I can’t imagine a life without weightlifting and eating clean!”
In viewing her video online, she has a very nice floor routine that you could do at home.

As with all online videos, catch them while you can.
Very inspiring story, wouldn’t you agree. She has some powerful story lines including overcoming a strong obstacle that didn’t defeat her.
So how does her plan work?
She shares, “Based on your wishes and objectives, I will prepare for you an individualized, comprehensive Nutrition plan. With my new, intelligent plan system you have the option to individually exchange your food from my alternatively list. You can choose your alternative food via drop down menu. The plan will calculate all macros in the background automatically. Moreover, I will give you tips for preparation and tell you to what you should pay attention.”
In her visit with the entertaining and healthy site trimmedandtoned.com, she speaks about her diet. “I get very good results with my low carb/high carb alternating diet. This variation stimulates the metabolism and so I burn fat.
My fridge is always stocked with lean protein (chicken breast, lean beef, ground turkey), salad, fresh & frozen veggies, eggs and berries that are nutrition powerhouses and are naturally healthy. I never leave my house without my Tupperware and I make sure that I eat every three hours.”
Very good. Eat small portions and eat often.
So if we travel to her home country of Switzerland and focused in on Zurich, what would be a sensational restaurant where you could eat well and healthy at the same time?
Let’s try Hiltl and here is why.
At their delicious site hiltl.ch they inform, “According to “Guinness World Records” Hiltl is the first vegetarian restaurant in the world.”
They continue, “According to Guinness World Records, Hiltl is the world’s oldest vegetarian restaurant. Owned by the fourth generation of the Hiltl family, we now have 250 staff from over 50 nations. Built on tradition but always modern, we remain true to our roots as a healthy-living establishment. We still make all our food fresh from scratch daily in our own kitchen and patisserie.”
Wow, wow, wow. That’s quite a bit.
Yet there’s so much more.
“You can enjoy Hiltl from early till late, and Friday to Sunday nights the restaurant turns into the Hiltl Club. In our Hiltl cooking studio on the 2nd floor we hold cooking classes and events, and our bright and original seminar rooms invite inspiring meetings.”
As we researched the online reviews, so many are in love with them.
At the enjoyable healthy site thenomadicvegan.com the writer shares, “So last time I mentioned that I had a very special place I wanted to share. You probably don’t think of Switzerland as the cradle of vegetarianism, but did you know that it’s actually home to the longest-running vegetarian restaurant in the world?
In addition to the amazing variety, everything in the buffet is very clearly marked, so it’s easy for vegans to navigate. In fact, this has to be the most extensive labeling system I’ve ever seen. No matter what allergy or dietary restriction you may have, I’m pretty sure Hiltl has you covered.
Don’t go too crazy though, because sadly this buffet is not all-you-can-eat. Rather, you fill up your plate and then weigh it to find out how much you will pay.”
He humorously concludes, “If I had easy access to a place like this, I would quickly end up fat and broke. Better to keep it as a special treat that’s a just-far-enough train ride away.”
Here is a review from Trip Advisor, “Had a great meal. Best buffet quality we’ve had. Huge number 70? 80? of vegetarian items. There was literally nothing I didn’t like. Most everything was excellent with a few things dropping down to merely very good. At 1630 on a Saturday, place was packed.”
So, the food is healthy, tasty and absolutely delicious but since they weigh it, an all you can eat buffet it’s not.
You only live once, so enjoy.
Working with Andrina on a health regime seems like an enjoyable journey. Yes indeed we only live once and at times along the pathway, we need a good coach.
Andrina comes across as just that. Perhaps it’s in her approach. What motivates her to help others with their fitness needs?
She smiles, “I love to see that spark in someone’s eyes when they achieve their own physique goals; it motivates me to push harder and show them that nothing is impossible.”
