Similar to a cherished year book where many faces will never be seen at future high school reunions or anywhere else, the history of our competitive female submission wrestling industry is littered with beautiful faces that tried the game, and then walked away from it forever, never to be seen again.
For those who have staying power, we are extremely happy that they are motivated to seize any and all opportunities to stay in the game.
Motivated is the operative word.
Let’s consider three with praise.
First let’s fly to the Czech Republic.
At Fight Pulse, we love Akela as she has an extensive resume of female vs female matches and seems to be motivated to continue. That’s wonderful for us.
Here is one of her more unusual matches where her dominant personality comes to the fore.
“Akela and Jane are both top contenders for the lightweight title, both having only one loss on their record, to the current champion. Akela and Jane have fought before, in FW-27, and that match is to this day is one of the most aggressive, fast-paced encounters we have ever filmed. Because they both have dominant personalities in life, are extremely competitive, always on the offensive, and almost equally skilled, their rivalry is developing into a captivating story. We have received numerous requests to hold a rematch between the two, and it will happen in the second half of 2016, possibly in the upcoming lightweight championship.
But today we present to you a H2H Contest between our lightweight fan favorites, – another chapter in their rivalry, – where the wrestlers test their upper and lower body strengths against each other. We know that Jane has strong upper body from pole-dance and fitness, and Akela possesses arguably the strongest scissors among all of our wrestlers, regardless of weight classes. What is your prediction?
H2H is a concept we introduced last year, which has since grown increasingly popular with our subscribers. It consists of a series of challenges that test two competitors against each other.
The winner of most of these challenges is declared to be the winner of the contest. The maximum possible score is 11-0. The minimum possible difference is 0, since the challenge can easily end up being a tie. This could happen if 1, 3 (quite possible) or more (improbable, but not impossible) of the above challenges end up being a tie. The three challenges that can easily end up with a tie, as noted above, are arm-wrestling, leg-wrestling and sgpin challenges, when each contestant wins one of the rounds. As to other challenges, they could theoretically end up with a tie as well, if the times extremely close.”

Sounds like a fascinating concept.
It should be because Akela is a fascinating girl who is highly motivated with staying power.
For our next motivated competitor, let’s board a train to England.
Recently we viewed a match where Blaze wrestled the established UK Star Axa who has competed at a very high level in Germany with Femwrestle and the Czech Republic with Fight Pulse.
Before viewing the match we pegged Axa as the heavy favorite. To our surprise Blaze battled her toe to toe with the outcome in doubt right up until the end.
To push Axa to those limits takes complete staying power.
Blaze has been motivated to stay in our industry for years and were really happy about that. She has met many of the submission world’s UK stars in battle at various companies like Female Wrestling Zone.
Pippa’s Submission Room in England has worked with her as well and sings her praises. “Blaze, with her incredibly flexible and muscular body is a very popular choice of opponent.
Blaze is a former professional gymnast and ballet dancer, making her a very agile and graceful wrestler. And it also explains her now legendary calf muscles.
These days she is a circus aerialist and her body is as powerful as it looks. With a background in Tae Kwando, sword fighting and Muay Thai she is no stranger to combat as you will discover. She may love nothing more than immobilizing you completely and watching you squirm, but it’s the charisma and charm with which she does it that will have you hooked.”
Here is what an extremely happy customer had to say about her after wrestling Blaze in a fully competitive match. “I had the pleasure of meeting blaze this Saturday and her pictures do not do her justice she is stunningly beautiful and extremely strong and knows what she is doing on the mats she has a real way of putting you at ease which was lovely as I was quite nervous this being my first time.
I had decided to go for a full competitive match with a bit of foot Dom and bb thrown in and she did not disappoint she is an amazing wrestler with very strong legs and once you are in them it is very difficult to get out but don’t think for a second you are safe if you do get out cause she is lighting quick and will soon be on top of you again that being said I did manage to get the upper hand a few times and managed to make her tap but not as many times as she got me, between her leg scissors and her head locks which are brutal she was definitely the one in charge.
I have to say I had an amazing time and I will be booking her again soon just after I recover from this one if you want a fun lovely girl to take control she is definitely the girl for you and I would book her while you can.”

It’s time to traverse across the pond and visit the San Francisco Bay Area to salivate over Penny.
We first met Penny back in 2012 at a Dojo in the East Bay where she had the pleasure and pain of taking on Rain DeGrey who can be one tough customer.
Penny (left)
Penny was just cutting her wrestling teeth and we weren’t sure that she would stay.
She has evolved and emerged as a formidable wrestler stringing up one victory after another along the way.
We’ve had video shoots and dinner with her in San Jose (Japanese) and are completely in love with her gregarious personality.
To our delight, Penny is now doing something that we felt she should have ages ago. Penny is now finally accepting requests for mixed-wrestling sessions.
Her invitation is found at http://www.barbarycoastgrapplers.com/grapplers/
The above gorgeous women are just three of myriads who have blessed us with the staying power to continue to entertain us in our great industry.
We’re glad this are our female grappling classmates happy to have a reunion with us, hopefully again and again.
