May 3, 2021,
Listening to Sydney Sweeney speak about her life choices, it is incredibly hard to believe she is only 23 years old.
Truly.
This young actress is mind blowing and watching her in HBO’s Euphoria, she plays the character so well it would be tempting to think they she is just as dysfunctional in real life.
She’s not.
Not remotely.
Just the opposite. Sydney appears closer to perfection.
Given her extensive resume of success, though no one is perfect, she sure seems close.
While it lasts, check out this link.

Sydney Sweeney is an American actress who has appeared in the Netflix series Everything Sucks! (2018) and has taken on recurring roles in the Hulu series The Handmaid’s Tale (2018) and the HBO miniseries Sharp Objects (2019).
In 2019, she began starring in the HBO teen drama series Euphoria.
There has been so much buzz about Euphoria. Without drama, the team behind it at HBO explains the drama. “Following a group of high school students as they navigate love and friendships in a world of drugs, sex, trauma and social media, the series will be executive produced by Drake, along with manager Future the Prince.
The ensemble cast includes: actor and singer Zendaya, Maude Apatow (Girls), Angus Cloud, Eric Dane, Alexa Demie, Jacob Elordi, Barbie Ferreira, Nika King, Storm Reid, Hunter Schafer, Algee Smith and Sydney Sweeney (Sharp Objects).
Euphoria is an American adaptation of an Israeli show of the same name, and all episodes are written by Sam Levinson (Assassination Nation), who also serves as executive producer.”
Here is what the reviewers with the inside scoop at hollywoodreporter.com analyzed, “There are a number of surprising and shocking elements in HBO’s new series Euphoria, which deals with teenage sexuality, drug use, peer pressure and more. But maybe the most shocking of them all is that the show is infinitely more impressive than a glance at its headliners might suggest.”
It is indeed impressive.
We found it to be so and binged watched.
Some critics remarked Euphoria felt documentary in style but we sense that is a good thing.
For those of us who time has distanced from their youth, it is beneficial to have a bird’s eye view of what is going on with today’s youth without having to meddle in the fray.
Some life experiences are actually better watched than experienced.
We will pass on any offers to participate.
We’re certainly glad Sydney did that for us with uncanny professionalism.
In film, she had a small role in Quentin Tarantino‘s 2019 comedy-drama Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, portraying a member of the Manson Family.
Our star, no wait, superstar, was born and raised in Spokane, Washington.
Her mother is a lawyer and her father is in the medical field.
Here is how it all started.
She gained an interest in acting after wanting to audition for a role in an indie movie that had come to her town. In order to convince her parents, she presented them a five-year business plan. They agreed and shortly after they moved to Los Angeles.
A teen presenting a five year business plan. That is remarkable.
A close knit family she grew up remodeling houses with her parents, and says she likes watching HGTV for ideas.
Is this story real?
It is unreal. It is surreal. In an incredibly impressive way.
Talk about taking risks.
That’s just it. Most of us talk about it but didn’t do it when it really mattered.
Sweeney did it when it really mattered and did it exceptionally well.
She could have gone many directions including being a future grappling star since she wrestled in high school. Sydney is also a trained MMA Fighter.
In an interview with Marie Claire, Sweeney spoke about competing in high school. She said she began training when she was 14. At 18, she entered a grappling tournament competing against boys above her weight class.
She took first place.
“Those guys were probably saying, “Oh, we didn’t want to hurt her,” Sydney said. “But they were definitely trying. Everyone broke a sweat!”
She bent but didn’t break.
Beautiful and tough.
There’s more. So much more.
In August 2018, it was announced that Sydney would be starring in Quentin Tarantino‘s film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. The film was released in the United States on July 26, 2019.
She will also be seen in the upcoming drama Clementine. Our talented luminary will play Lana, a rebellious young woman who begins a complex relationship with the main character, Karen.
She will also star in the film Big Time Adolescence directed by Jason Orley.
This one is very intriguing. Ms. Sweeney’s character is Holly, a young girl who acts older than she really is.
She is also starring in the upcoming horror film Tell Me Your Name.
In September 2019, it was announced that Sweeney would star in the Blumhouse TV film Nocturne alongside actress Madison Iseman.
In terms of her incredible resume, see what we mean?
She also gives back to the community.
As shared by spokesman.com, “Actress Sydney Sweeney was nervous Monday morning.
She wasn’t headed down a red carpet, into a big audition, or performing in front of icons like Leonardo DiCaprio or Brad Pitt. She’s done all of that, recently. Instead, she was about to face 30 students at Mountainside Middle School in north Spokane.
Sweeney came back to her home town to speak to an eighth-grade class about the importance of education and to answer all their burning questions about her life on the big screen.”
Nervous? Well, she still is only 23. Certain things do come with time, life experiences and maturity.
She has the street creds to speak to such an audience.
Her school’s valedictorian, in an interview with W, Sydney explains she was never allowed to miss school.
School was always the number one priority. Even while she’s taken a break to pursue her acting prospects, she’s still enrolled in college, finishing out her third year online.
Everything we read about Sydney is so impressive for someone so young that it is truly hard to believe that someone that age could make so many wise and effective decisions.
Some decisions can be very wise for your personal life but not effective for your professional one.
Sydney appears to make both.
In all honesty, we were caught by surprise here.
She’s just getting started.
Regarding the exploding career of this former valedictorian we have a suggestion for you.
Class?
Please pay very close attention.
