Sanctioned settings for female aggression can be a wonderful place to blow off some steam without getting arrested.
In between slapping people, pulling other girl’s hair really hard and making German policewomen passionately weep and seek sympathy (Artemis), according to her Social Media, Lia Labowe seems to also find fun and peaceful times with family and friends.
That’s comforting to know.
On the mats, Lia has made more women cry than Don Juan.
From a fan’s stand point, Lia has brought us so much joy, analysis, therapy and entertainment that we have to make sure we give Lia her well-deserved props, respect and appreciation otherwise we might get our you know what kicked.

What this writer loves about Lia is that behind that feminine charm and exquisite beauty; when she gets on the mats, she really turns into a tigress and is determined not to lose.
Quiet rage.
You can witness this by viewing many of her matches at the WBI women’s wrestling site where she has competed against Keri, Dia Zerva, Dakota, Sybil and Jenn to name a few.
Lia expresses, “I wrestle on the east coast. I’m 5’8 and weigh in at 130 pounds. I enjoy all types of matches! Either total control, semi-competitive, light tumbles, FvsF, cat fights and Pro style, it’s all fun…!”
In a 2006 interview with the now closed Fighting Style her quiet confidence, sense of humor and love for full tilt competition was evident. She made it clear that she waits for openings to strike even after she’s been pummeled and punished. You can punch her, kick her, slap her but at some point you’re going to give her an opening.
A review of some of her great matches speak to that.
Lia has dominated and utterly defeated so many women that it’s her toughest matches that stand out.
One such engagement took place with Julie Squeeze on a lawn. As usual, Lia seems to love fighting on her back with her two legs gripped around her opponent’s legs to prevent a mount as she did against Julie.
LIA DOMINATED AT FIGHTING STYLE
Sporting a white top and sea blue briefs, Germany’s Zhara looked beautiful and formidable as ever. While customers lounged around on pink lawn chairs and Lia sported pink, early on Zhara had the upper hand trying to smother Lia for four minutes and the Bostonian endured endlessly before it was called a stalemate.
I waited with anticipation to watch her take on Kristiana who has had some sterling matches herself in the past. Kristiana loves the fantasy wrestling world so what initially appeared to be a fully competitive match didn’t seem so as it went on. I have a theory. The louder a competitor grunts in pain, the less real the match is.
Her match against Nikki Fierce at the same indoor facility was very real. I love the shapely porcelain blonde Nikki who is a gorgeous Cali girl. Some of Nikki’s best competitive work was at Fighting Style where she took on the sensuous but fierce German menace in Karine. It was rough and rugged.
Here she engages Lia in a ground war, which Lia seems to be very comfortable with, biding her time until she regained the top position and counted Nikki out with school girl pins.
We chronicled Lia’s match against Artemis at the Fighting Style event where she completely dominated the gorgeous German under the stars but it was her match against Kahti that was greatly anticipated and it didn’t disappoint.
Kahti initially had the upper hand, landing a jumping body scissors on Lia, a move I never really liked since it leads to so many knee injuries. Down Lia went and withstood Kahti’s determined charge, struggled on the outdoor blue mats surrounded by a blustery wind and finally trapped Kahti in a crunching body scissors that forced Kahti to scream for mercy.
Kahti gained my respect at Fighting Style when she took on a tough English competitor named Kirsty and delivered an excruciatingly painful beating that saw Kirsty beg for mercy in between spitting out sand.
Lia had that effect on a shapely European beauty named Eva who she submitted at will on the sand.

Lia Labowe is a tall, lean, experienced wrestler who has recently come out of a 2 year retirement. I was lucky enough to be booked with her while she’s around for her comeback. Lia was booked solid on her trip to the west coast. Seemed everyone wanted a piece of the girl as no one knows for sure how long she will stay around. My hopes are that she stays around for a long, long time.
First, I will tell you what I was expecting. I had heard legendary tales of this girl. I heard she battled something like 16 girls in one day and no one was able to tap her out. I heard she was training in BJJ for years and practiced reverently. I heard she was the sexiest girl ever to hit the mats….well…did she live up to her legendary status…YES!!! Yes she did. The woman is incredibly skilled. She has a defense for any attack. She has a mental toughness I have never seen in another wrestling EVER. She has a focus I have never seen in a female grappler.”
Of course customer reviews are the most important and out of a legion of men who loved having a session with Lia, this one seemed to stand out. “I have had 3 sessions with Lia Labowe. Lia is the total package: beauty, personality, athleticism, and grappling ability. She is quick and shockingly strong for her size. I have over 50 pounds on her, but with her superior grappling ability, she just dominates me on the mat. As great as she is at wrestling, she is an even a better person and she makes the entire experience fun. She also has a nice private place to wrestle with very large matted area.”
