People who live in beautiful homes with a view, travel the world to exotic locations or exciting places of business interests, dine at the finest restaurants and seem to be living life in a way that many don’t, to a person almost always have a strong vision about who they are, what they want and the most efficient and enjoyable way to get there.

Apparently it’s been that way for some time.

Born in 1667, Jonathan Swift was an Anglo-Irish satirist, essayist, political pamphleteer, poet and cleric who became Dean of St Patrick’s Cathedral, Dublin.

Mr. Swift is remembered for works such as Gulliver’s Travels, A Modest Proposal, A Journal to Stella, Drapier’s Letters, The Battle of the Books, An Argument Against Abolishing Christianity and A Tale of a Tub. He is regarded by the Encyclopedia Britannica as the foremost prose satirist in the English language.

He was once quoted as saying, “Vision is the art of seeing what is invisible to others.

In a 2014 interview with Abbey Post, when asked what she liked best about modeling, the gorgeous blonde shapely model Kelsey Olsen provided an unconventional and intriguing answer. article, photo article, photo

“I look at artists, art directors, photographers and the marketing people, and they have a vision. What I love about it, and what inspires me is I want to work with people and to have them work with me. To have a vision and to want me to be part of that to represent their brand or their image, I think that’s the most exciting part. They make me something that matches their imagination, their vision comes to life and that’s the coolest part. Sometimes you surprise yourself. You don’t know what’s going to happen. You go in and you try to do your best and then something beautiful is created and that’s the most exciting part.”

Earning income in an industry that for decades has been entrenched in a culture where the mindset that only thin is beautiful, the curvy princess Kelsey had to fly against convention and pursue her own vision.

Welcome to La Verne, California.

La Verne is a suburb 30 miles east of Los Angeles. It’s located below the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains. The small San Gabriel Valley city has a population of 31,063 at the 2010 census.

At their informative city site they educate us about this tree shaded town’s history. Founded in 1887 and incorporated in 1906, La Verne is located in metropolitan Los Angeles County, and is a “close-knit” community which has been able to retain its “small town” traditions and virtues. With eight mobile home parks and three large retirement communities, La Verne has a significant senior citizen population. In addition, it claims an influx of new upscale housing during the past two decades.

It has a very nice contrast. La Verne is also home to The University of La Verne.

The University of La Verne is considered one of the safest college campuses across the nation, placing in the top 11 percent of institutions, according to a ranking by the organization, Niche.

Niche, which ranks colleges, school districts, and cities, included 1,713 colleges and universities in their 2016 Safest College Campuses report, which is based on crime statistics, student surveys and other factors.

The organization placed La Verne in the top 20 percent of California institutions, ranking La Verne at No. 16 out of 80 colleges and universities.
