We can purchase food at the same store, drive the same model car, watch movies at the same theater but even with those like dynamics, clearly all lives are not the same. It’s as though we walk down the street side by side on the same concrete but we might as well live in different dimensions on different planets.
What is the life of an established artist with a steady income and flexible time like compared to a Call Center Rep in a room with no windows working 40 hours a week with benefits, both of whom almost make the same yearly salary?
Which life would you choose?
In the unpredictable, fun and exciting world of competitive female wrestling, many women have wrestled on the same mats, worked with the same people and worked just as hard but clearly walk in a different grappling world than the Industry Stars do.
She’s statuesque, shapely, blonde, great looking and a highly skilled wrestler. What would it be like to walk in her wrestling shoes?
Jeanne Hunter would know.
One such star that had to feel great about her chances every time she stepped onto the mats was our Canadian beauty. As a fan I know I always felt great about her chances and she seldom proved me wrong.
Primarily doing battle in the 1990’s, Jeanne’s resume includes struggles with Aziza Cain, Rose Devlin, Sasha Lee, Monica Moore, Terri Vixen and others.
Her matches can still be purchased at www.tpcwrestling.com.
The match descriptions paint an enticing picture. In her battle against Scottish legend Jill Monroe they gush, “Both show skill, strength and determination in this 100% truly competitive match. Jeanne at 5’9″ tall weighs in at 148 lbs, and Jill is 5’5″ and 135 lbs.
This match is for the true collector and we are sure will be regarded as a classic. Both women are super fit and it shows as they try to literally grind each other down with power holds. Jill has a headlock that gives Jeanne some real pain, whilst Jeanne shows Jill how strong her thighs are as she really squeezes first the Scots girl’s body then her head.
The result is close but the match has seven submissions.”
Jeanne would go to have many matches at TPC in England and other interesting destinations as well. She also waged war in the ever green State of Washington at Washington Women’s Wrestling and Boxing Videos.
TPC released many of their matches as well. The W.W.W. was organized by the legendary ex-amateur wrestler Judell Dulong. When Judell was wrestling in the 1970s she was rated by many as the best in the world at her weight class.
Some of Jeanne’s opponents there were sexy girl next door types like Luraina Undershute, Sophie Knight, Chamille, Stella and more amateur beauties.
As a fan what I personally loved about Jeanne is that with her size, athleticism and pride; I felt that she always had a chance to win. I never saw anyone dominate her nor did I ever see her slack off, giggle or talk endlessly during a contest; behavior that are all match killers.
Though our pretty girl is from Canada, since she spent so much time wrestling in Washington State, if you’ve never been there, it’s possesses some of the most breath taking natural beauty in America.
Take a deep breath. You’ll love Washington’s fresh air.
“Washington is a state in the Pacific Northwest region of the United States located north of Oregon, west of Idaho, and south of the Canadian province of British Columbia on the coast of the Pacific Ocean. Named after George Washington, the first President of the United States, the state was made out of the western part of the Washington Territory which had been ceded by Britain in 1846 by the Oregon Treaty as a settlement of the Oregon Boundary Dispute. It was admitted to the Union as the 42nd state in 1889.
Approximately 60 percent of Washington’s residents live in the Seattle metropolitan area, the center of transportation, business, and industry along the Puget Sound region of the Salish Sea, an inlet of the Pacific consisting of numerous islands, deep fjords, and bays carved out by glaciers.
The remainder of the state consists of deep temperate rainforests in the west, mountain ranges in the west, central, northeast and far southeast, and a semi-arid basin region in the east, central, and south, given over to intensive agriculture. After California, Washington is the second most populous state on the West Coast and in the Western United States.”
Thank you very much Wikipedia. Let’s take a jeep and keep driving.
The dynamic site www.experiencewa.com raves, “Washington State has two major ranges: the Cascade Range and the Olympic Mountains. Both the Olympics and the Cascades offer countless places for outdoor activities, whether you’re interested in hardcore climbing or mountain biking or just looking for a peaceful hike through a stand of old-growth forest or a good spot for a family picnic. Come winter, Washington’s mountains offer everything from black-diamond runs for intrepid skiers and snowboarders to “bunny slopes” for inner tubing with the kids. Whatever draws you to the mountains, there’s no shortage of them here.”
Since I have been there countless times I agree that the praise for the physical beauty is well deserved but it’s also the spiritual feeling that keeps me coming back. I love getting lost deep in the moist forests, driving down the broad highways surrounded by thick green carpeted trees and standing by the ocean or lake and watching one sunset after another.
When I was young, visited Seattle and walked through Husky land at the University of Washington, I thought to myself, what a great concept of having a stadium right on the lake where you can enjoy football games and sweet, still, pristine water at the same time. I was entranced by the old world Gothic styled buildings as well.
I could certainly understand it if Jeanne loved Washington State. I found the people to be intelligent and really down to earth.
Jeanne was not around long enough but she certainly earned respect and made a name for herself in our industry. Good for her.
We’ll always appreciate her beauty and stellar matches. This is an effort to place in her our online museum.
Yes physically we may all walk down the same forest covered path, but some female stars like Jeanne Hunter walked a higher path.
