French maidens, beautiful in form, for Americans in so many ways are symbolic of France.

Impossible to resist and at times challenging to understand.

It is always worth the effort though.

There is a mesmerizing French journalist who has captured the world’s attention, even though many of them cannot understand a word she says.

No matter. It still sounds wonderful and mesmerizes.

Mélissa Theuriau is a French journalist and news anchor for M6. She studied journalism and became a television news presenter. She is the former anchor and co-editor in chief of Zone interdite on French TV.

She was born on 18 July 1978 in Échirolles, France. There she was educated as well.

Melissa earned a DUT in News-Communication from Institut Universitaire de Technologie (Technical University). She later joined Institute of Communication and Media and graduated with a Master’s degree in journalism and mass communication.

Our French beauty has become an internet phenomenon, with fans uploading video compilations receiving millions of hits from admirers. Now that we can understand in any language. Especially the International one.

Ms. Theuriau was a reporter at Match TV in 2002. Since 2003, she has been a reporter and anchor for La Chaîne Info, where she became better known to the French general public. She made her breakthrough as a newscaster and travel show host for LCI, the news channel and for TF1.

In 2006, the Daily Express voted her the world’s most beautiful news reporter. She was similarly voted “TV’s sexiest news anchor” by readers of the US edition of Maxim. In May 2007, she was voted most beautiful woman in the world in the French edition of FHM. Paris Match has referred to her as la bombe cathodique (“the television bombshell”).

We have been pleasantly bomb shell shocked.

AMANDA DRURY article, photo credit

Drop dead gorgeous is a euphemism when describing Amanda Drury. Super sexy and alluring is probably more accurate.

Amanda Drury is an Australian journalist and news anchor for CNBC, hosting finance and business programming from New York City.

She was also the co-host of the US version of Street Signs until its end on February 6, 2015 and has appeared on other various CNBC shows as an expert in finance and business.

Amanda was born in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. She attended Methodist Ladies’ College, Melbourne, and graduated in 1990.

She received a bachelor’s degree in fine arts, Japanese and French from the University of Melbourne and attended the Australian Film, Television and Radio School.

Like many Australians who seems to possess a deep wanderlust, Amanda has lived in many parts of the world.

Amanda started working in Japan in International Relations.

She began her broadcast career in radio before making the switch to TV working for Bloomberg in Tokyo from 1999 to 2000.

Our Australian beauty joined CNBC in January 2001 and spent eight years based at its Asia-Pacific headquarters in Singapore.

What a world traveler.

She was stationed in CNBC Sydney in 2009 before being transferred to CNBC’s global headquarters in New Jersey in May 2010.

Amanda’s first position at CNBC USA was as the co-anchor of “The Call”. She has appeared on other various CNBC shows and segments. She became the co-presenter of The Call (US version) in March 2011.

Ms. Drury was a finalist in the 2007 and 2008 Asian Television Awards in the category of Best News Presenter.

Amanda left CNBC US after her final appearance as co-presenter of Power Lunch on January 15, 2016, to relocate back to Sydney, Australia. She rejoined CNBC Asia in July 2016.

What a journey that she has taken her fans on.

One of them is the great media information who shares a note from CNBC, “Mandy has been a valued member of the CNBC family for 15 years – first in Asia and for the past five-and-a-half years here in the U.S. Her international markets savvy and poise have helped the shows she has anchored shine, and her work ethic and can-do attitude have made her a cherished colleague.”

No doubt about it. Amanda is a shining star.

We have watched video of her discussing how she loves to ride a scooter around Manhattan. She possesses a number of scooters and even color coordinates them with her outfits.

Check out the video while it lasts. Very impressive.

She doesn’t want to be a scooter clasher. Its Manhattan after all.

We get it.

More importantly we sense we get her and love what we see.

Just like so many fans around the world.

Perfection. We are in agreement.

Understandably she has her fans who sing her praises. At they proudly announce, “The Spanish-language “Despierta America” is crushing its early morning talk show competition, increasing viewership by 26% this year, thanks in part to its sizzling co-host Martinez.

The University of Texas grad previously worked as a model and wrote a self-help book titled “The Power of a Smile.”

Extremely bright and talented, she can be inspiring as well.

As reported at, “Karla Martinez has never felt so close to a disease and vulnerable to life following a recent health scare she experienced. The “Despierta America” host opened up last week on live television regarding a visit to the doctor, where they detected a small bump on her right breast. A biopsy test and thousands of support and loving messages later, Martinez’s test results came out negative.”

Anyone who has gone through and survived that diagnoses knows what a sense of great relief that can be and Karla has been very helpful at getting the word out and encouraging women to get mammograms for early detection.

She gets one every year.
