Female Session Girls who provide ethical mixed wrestling for men have always been ahead of the curve.

Way ahead.

Easily over ten years ago they had the courage to travel the globe in search of compensated grappling opportunities and to enjoy the travel experience.

Some of their courage is due to the fact that they workout extensively and probably are stronger than average. They are used to competing against men and don’t travel afraid, just prepared.

Usually, as a female, they traveled alone.

The rest of the women around the globe are catching up. Happily.

At the fun adventure site solotravelerworld.com they educate, “Since starting Solo Traveler in 2009, we have gathered an extensive amount of solo travel statistics and data as well as demographic and psychographic information on solo travelers.”

Those are great qualifications.

We want to know a little more about the female traveler who courageously travels alone. They offer, “Searches for “solo female travel” grew by 52% between 2016 and 2017. This report not only looks at the trend of solo female travel but also the purchasing power of women.

Tour companies find that the majority of their female travelers are going solo. VBT Bicycling and Walking Vacations says that 68 percent of their female travelers in 2016 took a trip without a companion, while Country Walkers says 87 percent of its female participants were single (that’s about 3.3 single women to every male traveler).”

Thanks for the research and strong leg work.

Can we get someone to concur? Yes.

The enjoyable experts at hostelworld.com adds, “Solo female travel is on the rise, and women around the globe are discovering how liberating, empowering and exciting it can be to venture into the unknown alone.

One of the best things about solo travel is that it takes you out of your comfort zone and forces you to talk to strangers. Many people worry that they’ll be lonely if they travel alone, but you’ll be amazed at just how easy it is to meet other people.”

We’ve known that for some time but it is always nice to have a second opinion that supports your beliefs.

Now that we have the basics, we want to take this to another level.

The number of travel opportunities are endless.

You can travel by car, plane, train, and by so many other mobile options.

So we were looking for an adventure that really stood out to us. Maybe you can’t afford it now, but it should be on your bucket list.

Sometimes you need a recommendation and who better than the sensuous Australian actress, Nicole Kidman.

The elegant and gorgeous strawberry blonde, known as one of Hollywood’s top Australian imports, was actually born in Honolulu, Hawaii, while her Australian parents were there on educational visas.

You knew that right?

Nicole began her acting career in Australia with the 1983 films Bush Christmas and BMX Bandits. Her breakthrough came in 1989 with the thriller Dead Calm and the television miniseries Bangkok Hilton. In 1990, she made her Hollywood debut in the racing film Days of Thunder, opposite Tom Cruise. She went on to achieve wider recognition with leading roles in Far and Away (1992), Batman Forever (1995), To Die For (1995), and Eyes Wide Shut (1999). She received two consecutive nominations for the Academy Award for Best Actress for playing a courtesan in the musical Moulin Rouge! (2001) and the writer Virginia Woolf in the drama film The Hours (2002); she won the award for the latter, and received Golden Globes for both films.

Ms. Kidman has since starred in such films as The Others (2001), Cold Mountain (2003), Dogville (2003), Birth (2004), Australia (2008), The Paperboy (2012), Stoker (2013), Paddington (2014), The Beguiled (2017), and Destroyer (2018).

She has also received two additional nominations for an Academy Award for; Rabbit Hole (2010), and Lion (2016).

Whew. That is a lot. She’s not done.

In 2012, she received her first Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Miniseries or a Movie for her role in the HBO film Hemingway & Gellhorn, and returned to television in 2017, co-producing and starring in the HBO series Big Little Lies, winning the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress for her acting, and the Outstanding Limited Series In 2018, she played Queen Atlanna in the superhero film Aquaman, which emerged as her highest grossing release.

Gushing at her Facebook, the Australian actress shared a picture of a double bed inside her private suite, which is branded as The Residence, captioning the snap with: ‘WOW!!! The most amazing flight ever!

In this new world that seems to be changing with new emerging products at break neck speed, we ask the question, who is Etihad Airways?

Etihad Airways is the second-largest airline of the United Arab Emirates (after Emirates). Its head office is in Khalifa City, Abu Dhabi, near Abu Dhabi International Airport.

Etihad commenced operations in November 2003.

So, they have been around for some time.

The airline operates more than 1,000 flights per week to over 120 passenger and cargo destinations in the Middle East, Africa, Europe, Asia, Australia and the Americas, with a fleet of 117 Airbus and Boeing aircraft as of February 2018.

In 2015, Etihad carried 14.8 million passengers, a 22.3% increase from the previous year, delivering revenues of US$9.02 billion and net profits of US$103 million.

Its main base is Abu Dhabi International Airport.

We can understand Nicole’s excitement and given their revenue, we see that she is not alone.

They have some things to say at their Facebook as well. “Etihad Airways is proud to be the national airline of the UAE. Join us as we embark on new adventures around the world, and tell us how you choose to fly.

We’ve come a long way since our first flight in 2003, and we’re delighted to have been able to share the adventure with millions of passengers ever since.”

Very understandable.

We want to know more about them so we will now take you to their corporate profile where they smile, “Etihad’s guests are at the heart of everything it does. The airline is in a perfect geographical position and offers its guests a network of over 110 passenger and cargo destinations across six continents, with a young and environmentally friendly fleet of more than 120 aircraft.

Etihad Airways’ vision is to be the best airline in the world, connecting the globe via Abu Dhabi. The airline seeks to reflect its values of Arabian hospitality and warmth- as well as enhance the reputation of Abu Dhabi as world class business and leisure destination.”

Wonderful. So good to know.

As always, it is important to do your research and homework ahead of time about a region and culture before you travel there. Especially in regards as to what is not acceptable.

If you are a female traveller who likes to go solo, and many of our Session Girls do, then you might want to plan Etihad on your travel schedule.

Their motto is “Choose Well”.
