Having the designation as one of the most recognizable faces in fitness, how in the world do you protect your privacy. I mean you might need a super hero to protect you.

Or you can become a super hero yourself.

The fitness super star Alicia Marie has been a super heroine for a long time. Almost all of her life.

If you love women with nicely shaped bottoms (Who doesn’t?) then you have most likely heard of Alicia Marie.

Never one to sit down on the job, Marie wrote a book about how to obtain those really nice buns.

Let’s meet Alicia.

We love a good read and at aliciamarie.com we learn so much about Alicia. “Alicia Marie is the author of Amazon ‘Reader Favorite’ The Booty Bible– a‘rearend’ exercise fit-cyclopedia for women. She is an MTV: Music Television fitness coach, a multi-media fitness personality, as well as an internationally recognized fitness supermodel and celebrity health & diet guru.

Alicia is co-creator of Lionsgate Media’s “30-Day Buttlift” DVD workout series. She is the writer and producer of Los Angeles’ Metro health and nutrition syndicated video series for children/youth, CARDIO WORLD.”

That’s a great start but there is so much more.

Alicia grew up in Nantucket, Connecticut. Time to travel there.

Naugatuck is a consolidated borough and town in New Haven County, Connecticut, United States. The town spans both sides of the Naugatuck River just south of Waterbury, and includes the communities of Union City on the east side of the river.

As of the 2010 census, Naugatuck had a population of 31,862.

The local high school, Naugatuck High School, has a storied football rivalry with the high school in Ansonia that is one of the longest in America. Like the other rival high schools in the Naugatuck Valley, the two teams meet the morning of Thanksgiving Day. The first meeting was in 1900. Ansonia is the long-term winner in the series. Naugatuck High School’s mascot is the greyhound, and its colors are garnet and grey.

The town of Naugatuck is affectionately referred to as “Naugy” by its residents.

Naugatuck is also no stranger when it comes to being in popular media. In 2008, an episode of Food Paradise (Sandwich Paradise) on the Travel Channel highlighted the Nardelli’s Grinder Shoppe, its specialty(s) Italian grinder sandwiches (“Meat Combo”). The town has also been used as a filming location for works such as Engine Trouble, released in 2002, and War of the Worlds, filmed at the former Uniroyal plant and released in 2005. (The plant was demolished on February 28, 2008.)

Alicia seems to take us to a very good place because she is from one.

As you can guess, there is so much more to Alicia. Let’s knock at her website door again.

“As a respected fitness and health writer, Alicia is a syndicated columnist for Oxygen magazine and she has penned dozens of features for a multitude of women’s interest magazines including Muscle & Fitness HERS, Fitness RX, SELF and Fitness magazines – as well as celebrity weekly InTouch magazine.

You might recognize Alicia as the celebrity fitness coach from MTV: Music Television’s Emmy-award winning program ‘MADE’ and ‘SUPERMADE’ or as one of “Kirstie Alley’s” trainers-to-be on her A&E self-titled program.

As one of the industry’s most popular and recognizable fitness models, Alicia has been on dozens of magazine covers. With her massive social media following, Alicia Marie has been able to develop her love of fitness and her knowledge and experience in the health and nutrition industry into international recognition as an endorsed fitness model and athlete, Notably, Alicia was crowned by Arnold Schwarzenegger and Joe Weider as the magazine’s first ever Ms. Muscle & Fitness Magazine in 2006.

No stranger to being in print, Alicia Marie has lent her body parts to commercial product endorsement over the years. Her ‘rear’ was the focus of Jergens Firming Body Lotion “You Bet Your Bottom” national ad campaign, David Barton Gym’s billboards and Curel’s body cream national advertisements.

Previously, Alicia’s abdominals could be seen as the spotlight of the Eggbeaters “0% Fat” national campaign. A former high fashion and runway model, Alicia has walked for many top designers including Versace, Vivienne Westwood and Anand Jon.”

We all need a hero but when you are as recognizable as Alicia if you decide not to hire a super hero bodyguard, becoming a super heroine is the next best thing.

“Nothing is given to man on earth – struggle is built into the nature of life, and conflict is possible – the hero is the man who lets no obstacle prevent him from pursuing the values he has chosen.”… Andrew Bernstein

Let’s see how she does it.

“Self-professed “fitness-nerd” Alicia’s lifelong love of comic book superheroes, technology, video game toons and iconic film characters has been well-documented.

Alicia was named as one of VH1’s Hottest Cosplayers of the year after eagle-eyed channel reps spotted her nod to Mortal Kombat’s Jade at San Diego Comicon.

The Huffington Post featured Alicia’s take on DC Comics bad-girl ‘Poison Ivy’ on the cover of their ‘Freaks and Geeks’ special edition. Alicia is best known for her portrayal of the X-Men’s omega-level mutant STORM and as Marvel Entertainment’s signature Ms. Marvel.

“Gamer girl” Alicia has recently formed an all-female gaming “live-stream” team on TwitchTV (http://www.twitch.tv/twingalaxieslive), The MYSTIKS in collaboration with video game legends Twin Galaxies.

Currently working on her second book, Alicia Marie is a NASM Elite Trainer and she graduated Cum Laude with Honors and Distinction from the University of Connecticut with a degree in Neuroscience. She studied writing for Broadcast and Reporting at the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.”

In a very nice interview with oxygenmag.com, Alicia explains how she was first enamored with Cosplay. “I grew up reading comic books. Wonder Woman, She-Hulk and the X-Men’s Storm were the first strong females I was exposed to. In sixth grade I discovered volleyball star and model Gabrielle Reece — she was the first living person who made me realize I could actually shape the body of a superhero. And now that I have that physique, I can become those comic-book stars I grew up with!”

What a wonderful resume.

She also professes to be a walking advertisement for BSN’s products. She uses the Lean Dessert Protein for everything.

What about the future though?

In a discussion with the energetic site maniacfitness.com Alicia smiles, “I am going to focus on my e-book series and AliciaMariebyRogiani.com, my fitness wear line and a couple other really fun projects.”
