Often the focus of envy and jealousy, coupled with admiration, beautiful young girls who seem to have it all, are a powerful lure to those who want a touch of their magic.
This was the case demonstrated so well in the classic lust and envy celluloid master piece American Beauty.
The master movie reviewer Roger Ebert explains at rogerebert.com, “The movie is about a man who fears growing older, losing the hope of true love and not being respected by those who know him best. If you never experience those feelings, take out a classified ad. People want to take lessons from you.”
Iskra Lawrence is a British shapely model who should take out the above classified ad so that we can all pay her to try and understand her magic.
She’s young, absolutely gorgeous, wealthy, vibrant, popular, world traveled and seems genuinely in love with life.
She’s happy go lucky with a lot more happiness coming her way. It’s inevitable.
This writer has written many articles about female athletes and curvy models and Iskra truly seems to at the top of the class in terms of loving her life.
If we were teenage girls in high school, I’d be her butt kissing best friend.
And what a butt to kiss.
As an adult, I’m filled with lust, curiosity and admiration.
Let’s get to know this English beauty a little better.
Iskra was born September 11, 1990.
She is an English shapely model. She is also the managing editor at Runway Riot, a website meant to be an outlet for women of all shapes and sizes to learn about glamour. Ms. Lawrence models for and is the global Role Model for Aerie, a brand of clothing from American Eagle Outfitters.
She serves as a NEDA brand ambassador and creator of the NEDA Inspires Award.
At their site nationaleatingdisorders.org, NEDA educates, “The National Eating Disorders Association (NEDA) is the leading 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization in the United States advocating on behalf of and supporting individuals and families affected by eating disorders. Reaching millions every year, we campaign for prevention, improved access to quality treatment, and increased research funding to better understand and treat eating disorders. We work with partners and volunteers to develop programs and tools to help everyone who seeks assistance.”
A very important and much needed organization.
Iskra, who was scouted when she was 13 after entering an ELLE girl search, now has well over 1.8 million Instagram followers.
She has a strong fan following among model industry leaders as well.
The enjoyable site fashionista.com observes, “Even a blind person would be able to tell that Iskra Lawrence is gorgeous. Obviously, there’s the looks — the beachy blonde mermaid hair, the megawatt smile, the sparkling eyes — but there’s also a lovely energy radiating off of her. Between an infectious giggle and an endlessly positive attitude, she’s like the walking embodiment of the expression beautiful inside and out.”
Do you see what I mean about her magical allure?
The article continues to share that Iskra quickly figured out that her body was perfectly suited for lingerie modeling, which requires different body shapes more often than most other categories. By creating a niche for herself, she soon had those agencies knocking at her door — and ultimately, it landed her a campaign for American Eagle’s intimates brand Aerie, a longtime dream.
Her dream come true and ours as well.
This English beauty is a very logical thinker. She was clever and wise enough to monopolize in an industry where there was virtually no one her size.
She’s not shy about offering her opinion and creating forums for discussion. In terms of the plus size label, which most curvy models that Femcompetitor Magazine has written about, do not like, Iskra seems to be in that camp as well.
She suggests that society should just get rid of that label. She’s never described herself as plus size.
Let’s do. Plus size label be gone.
Let’s enjoy some of her photos instead, a few of whom are taken by the photographer of the stars, Matt Agudo. https://www.linkedin.com/in/matt-agudo-8a36ab32
More dessert please.
Forgive me, but I want seconds. Mr. Kevin Spacey? We need English Beauty, the sequel.
I LOVE SWEETS
In terms of the relationships between men and women on her Twitter she displays the quote, “Destroy the idea that men should respect women because we are their daughters, mothers and sisters. Reinforce the idea that men should respect women because we are people.”
Message received. I’m a people person. I love people. Especially women people. Very especially curvy women people.
Cosmo seems obsessed with our darling cutie as well. At cosmopolitan.com they enlighten, “Not only is Iskra Lawrence totally gorgeous, she was also born with a little something that only 1 in 2,500 people have: webbed toes!”
Mildly webbed we should add.
Why not continue to be spoon fed with more sweet accolades?
At the fun site popsugar.com they pour it on. “We might have officially found our newest source of female and fitness inspiration. Model Iskra Lawrence, who shut down the thigh-gap debate and a body shamer on Instagram, continues to keep it real. Not only is she vocal about body positivity, but she also kills it in the gym. She posted an Instagram video of herself completely crushing box jumps while holding a 22-pound kettlebell. According to her caption, “3-5 sets of 10-15 reps” is how she likes to warm up.”
Hmm. Who raised this perfect girl?
Why don’t we very briefly visit the village that raised her.
Worcester is a city and the county town of Worcestershire in the West Midlands of England. Worcester is situated some 17 miles southwest of the southern suburbs of Birmingham and 23 miles north of Gloucester and has an approximate population of 100,000 people.
It’s fitting that we are met by a warm and friendly guide at visitworcestershire.org. They pronounce, “Worcester is a beautiful Cathedral and University City with a fascinating history of industry, a wealth of interesting architecture, top class sports teams and venues, an unrivalled selection of high street names and independent boutiques and a vibrant program of events.
The city is best known for its magnificent Cathedral but is also famous for the world renowned Worcester Porcelain, the piquant Worcestershire Sauce and the most picturesque cricket ground in the country.”
As always, the global leader in travel, lonelyplanet.com provides us with the eloquent inside scoop. “Worcester (pronounced woos-ter) has enough historic treasures to forgive the architectural eyesores from the postwar love affair with all things concrete. The home of the famous Worcestershire sauce (an unlikely combination of fermented tamarinds and anchovies), this ancient cathedral city was the site of the last battle of the Civil War, the Battle of Worcester, which took place on 3 September 1651. The defeated Charles II only narrowly escaped the pursuing Roundheads by hiding in an oak tree, an event still celebrated in Worcester every 29 May, when government buildings are decked out with oak springs.”
Ah, scenic pleasure and a small town history.
What I loved most in researching Iskra’s life are her eye popping videos where she’s dancing up a storm and having a great time.
Hopefully these will stay up for a while. This girlie is clearly having fun.
This one on the street. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=38eMKXfQLTU
American Beauty or English Beauty, we can never have enough beauty in the world.
Iskra is the epitome of what life should be like when you are young, at the top of your game and the world is your oyster.
She beautiful, energetic, creative, motivating, captivating and desirable. You just want to reach through the video and hung her so tight and never let her go.
But you have to. It would be very selfish not to.
Her body speaks perfect English. This English Beauty should be shared with the world.
